You can visit alleyways and forgotten places, while hearing tales of the restless inhabitants from the Holy City's best storytellers. Truly the best of any tour we’ve ever been on! Adam is so talented and thoughtful and I couldn’t recommend this experience enough.
We had a great experience on the City of the Dead: The Dark Hauntings of Charleston tour! Adrian was an excellent storyteller and did a great job bringing Charleston’s dark history and ghost stories to life. She was also very flexible throughout the tour and adjusted the experience based on what our group was interested in hearing about. The stories were fascinating, the atmosphere was perfect for a nighttime ghost tour, and our guide kept the tour engaging from beginning to end. You could really she knew the history and genuinely enjoyed sharing these stories with the group.
City of the Dead was creepy, atmospheric, and thoroughly unforgettable—and Adam made the experience even better. If you love ghost stories, haunted graveyards, and a good dose of the macabre, definitely take this tour. Just be prepared for a few chills… and maybe a second glance over your shoulder when you leave! 👻🪦🌙

Darian is an exceptional guide. I loved how she shared personal pictures to enhance the tour. It thundered and lightningednin our walk but I trusted her 100% to do the right thing. Thankfully, there was no need to call off the tour and the walk continued. The distant lightning lent an air to the mysteriousness. Well done, Darian!

Darian gave us a GREAT tour of Charleston! She was a captivating story teller and went into some really cool details that we haven’t experienced with other tour guides. Also, a thunderstorm rolled in and she did an excellent job of adjusting the tour to what the weather would allow, while still showing us a great time and hearing some very spooky stories. We loved Darian and would recommend going to see her next time you’re in Charleston!
My partner and I frequently book “ghost” tours to learn about the cities we visit - they are a great way to learn some history that may be left out of the typical visitor brochures. Darian was perhaps my favorite guide ever. She was fun, so engaging, and very informative. If she gave a tour about paint drying, we’d probably give it a go - she’s that good.
