It was a very pleasant experience that we will remember for a long time. Federico and Eleonora guided us in making pasta and tiramisu; they shared a bit of their passion with us, and we look forward to recreating it at home. It was a rich moment of sharing for us and our children. Quality and hospitality beyond reproach.
I searched online for in-person classes in Naples and found this company listed as offering a local class. Based on the information provided on their website, we booked a same-day class and received a confirmation. We then spent $40 on a taxi to the listed location, only to be told by the security guard that no business by that name operated there and that nothing was open at that location. We had no choice but to spend another $40 on a taxi back into town. After investigating further, we discovered that the class we had been booked for was actually located approximately seven hours away. The website was misleading and gave the impression that the class was being held locally in Naples. I contacted the company multiple times, explained the situation, and requested a refund based on the inaccurate and misleading information on their website. Considering the class was booked the same day and the error stemmed from how the location was advertised, I believed a refund was a reasonable request. Instead, the company refused to take responsibility, declined to issue a refund, and ultimately stopped responding to my attempts to resolve the matter. This experience was extremely disappointing. Not only did we lose the $420 cost of the class, but we also incurred an additional $80 in unnecessary transportation expenses due to the misleading location information. I cannot recommend this company based on its deceptive advertising and poor customer service. A reputable business should stand behind the accuracy of its listings and work with customers to resolve issues fairly rather than refusing accountability and ignoring legitimate concerns.
This was an amazing experience! I really enjoyed the class and learned so much. This instructor was extremely knowledgeable and very kind. It was one of the highlights of my trip and the pasta was sooo good! Better than the restaurants even! I’m planning to make pasta for my family once I get home from my trip. My kids all got to taste some from the class and loved it.
It was incredibly special to be welcomed to Laura's home. We truly appreciated the opportunity to get to know her and her son, to learn and ask questions, and engage in a cultural exchange through cooking!
We spent a fabulous, fun and delicious day with our amazing hosts Silvia and Marco Donatini on the outskirts of Bologna and couldn't recommend them more highly! Silvia was endlessly patient with our enthusiastic but fumbled attempts at creating our pasta and Marco was our fabulously ebullient host! Three delicious pastas made lovingly by hand before we sat under an outdoor pergola with wine and sunshine to enjoy the fruits of our labour. Genuinely hard to go past as a fun experience! Our sincere thanks to Silvia and Marco for opening their home to us! A real highlight of our time in Bologna!
Eleonora and Federico were fantastic hosts and incredibly welcoming to their home! My wife and I had an amazing time and learned so much. This was easily one of the best parts of our trip!
We loved this experience! Being invited into our host Roberta’s home was something we haven’t experienced elsewhere. She was a warm host and guided us through making some great pasta which we ate with some beautiful sauces and wine. Would recommend to foodies and beginner cooks alike!
We had a wonderful time at the Pasta Making Course with Rosa. She was only a 20 minute walk from the Old City. Rosa was bubbly, friendly and makes delicious pasta. She also was very caring taking the time to purchase lactose free cheese and guiding us to make dairy free tortellonies and tiramisu. I highly recommend doing this experience.
The listed meeting place on the via tour app was not the meeting place for our booking. In the chaos of travel, managing family, elders and heat I didn’t notice a third “your event is coming up” email had been sent with the actual meeting place. The morning of I checked Viator and screen shotted our meeting place. Unfortunately was not correct and no hint on there that the information was somewhere else - 40 minute walk away and no cars/Ubers available. After messaging with our specific tour guide/cesarine - she had offered to wait up to an hour for us to be late but would have to adjust what we would make. My elevator parents were so hot/tired/frustrated that they canceled. I fully appreciate the cesarine for offering to wait but traveling 40 minutes in the heat was not possible. Viator should change the way they provide this information or BOOK DIRECT, not through Viator.
We had a wonderful time with Rosa. A really lovely experience to round off our time in Bologna
