Embark on a creative journey in your ceramic painting workshop, where the rich history of Portuguese ceramics comes to life. After a captivating introduction to the origins and techniques of ceramic art, choose the piece you want to paint: 1 plate of 20 cm, 1 tile of 20 cm, 1 sardine of 19 cm, As you unleash your creativity, enjoy a coffee break with cheeses, fruits, dried fruits, compote, bread and sparkling wine. Options (no alcohol) or for intolerants (lactose or gluten) are also available to make your experience even better. Once your masterpiece is finished, it will be glassed and cooked before being available for pickup or shipment. Minimalistic and exclusive class, minimum 4 and maximum 6 people. Create, learn, eat, drink and socialize!
I went with a group of friends to a class at Debora’s Atelier and we had a blast! Each of us created a unique, colorful ceramic piece that we painted and then she fired them for us. She supplied a choice of ceramic pieces, including plates and other items, the colors, and also snacks. We had a great afternoon and also I love my finished plate!

Delicious experience
It was three delicious hours painting dishes, learning a little about painting in ceramics and tiles, with the right to super special snack. Débora is very attentive and talented. Really a lovely experience ❤️

A wonderful experience
This experience is so much fun. It is failproof that you will come out with a beautiful finished piece. Debora has made sure of that! The shop is bright and cheery. There’s a break with some nice snacks. Debora gives good instructions and tips for painting. And, you come away with a beautiful art piece that you’ve created yourself. I like, too, that you can paint a traditional tile or sardine that is really representative of Portugal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I liked it so much, I have gone twice already.
