Description
Our Azulejo Tile Painting Workshop is the only one in Porto offering two options of tile painting techniques: -You can experience the original artisan glazing method, just as Portuguese craftsmen have done for centuries. This method tiles need to be fired in a ceramic kiln at 1,100°C (2,012°F), it takes up to 5 days to pick up or can be shipped. -Or choose the ready-to-go acrylic painting option, where your unique tile is sealed and ready to be taken home right after the workshop. Both allow you to create a unique piece of art to cherish. The session takes place in our working artist studio and gallery, surrounded by contemporary art and creative energy. Led by a professional artist, you’ll paint step by step, no experience needed, while also receiving insider tips of Porto’s best art galleries, museums, tile-covered architecture, and local restaurants. A perfect mix of authentic craftsmanship, creativity, and local insight, this workshop is truly one of a kind.

Fantastic Tile painting experience.
What a fabulous activity to do in Porto.Our teacher was fantastic.So talented and nothing was a problem.She gave us so many wonderful ideas.I can’t wait to see the end result after it has been fired and posted to Australia.

A truly delightful experience!
The teacher was attentive, helpful, and put us completely at ease. She shared wonderful little anecdotes — about places to visit, history, and culinary traditions — while skillfully guiding us and still leaving room for our own creativity. A lovely keepsake and beautiful mosaics!

A very nice discovery with this tile painting workshop. We had a great time. Eglė accompanied us with incredible generosity, a lot of knowledge, and true expertise. She took the time to explain each step to us with passion, patience, and enthusiasm, sharing all the little details that make the difference. Beyond the workshop, she also gave us a multitude of valuable tips for discovering Porto, which made our experience even more enriching. It is an original, friendly, and perfectly organized activity that we recommend with our eyes closed. A huge thank you to Eglė, who is simply brilliant! We are leaving with wonderful memories. Great experience. Eglė was a very thoughtful teacher. Really attuned to our needs and calming the desire to be perfectionist. It let us produce some really cool things. Bonus we get a souvenir of our time in Porto.
