You will put to work your creativity by designing, cutting and carving your own jewel of Jade. You will be guided by one of our expert jade carvers so you can take home a unique creation, made with your hands. You will take with you a piece of our land and our culture. We travel a lot and do quite a few tours, and this was probably one of the best tours we’ve ever done! Getting to choose the color of jade and the shape of the stone, then actually cutting and sanding it (with the help of a machine), was so much fun. It was such a unique, hands-on experience! We had Elmer and Caesar helping us. Elmer speaks perfect English, and both of them were patient, kind, and incredibly helpful. Caesar makes much of the jade jewelry you see in the shop, so you know you have a true master helping you create your piece. And the best part? You get to take your creation home with you! There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything in the shop, which we really appreciated. If I had more time on our trip, I would absolutely book this tour again to make another piece of jewelry. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful experience. We learned about jade around the world. Carlis and Cesar taught us to cut, shape snd polish. We each made a piece to take home. Highly recommend.

We had the best time spending the morning in the Jade workshop. Carlos, Elmer, and Cesar were outstanding and such a pleasure to be around. They were flexible with our booking when we needed to reschedule. They were very sweet when we noted it was our honeymoon. I would recommend anyone in Antigua to do this tour/workshop!

Overall, great experience but I wish the walk through the museum was a bit informative. The walk-through fell a bit rushed, and I was hoping a little bit more historical context around Jade Stone. The actual making of the Jade jewelry was a great experience! Overall, I felt like my time there was about an hour to an hour and a half.
