Calgary Stampede
Each year, more than one million guests from around the world come to Calgary to experience the world-famous Calgary Stampede! The Evening show featuring the chuck-wagon races, with 36 teams of horses and drivers racing to the finish line each night and Indigenous Relay Races are sure to amaze. The excitement is capped off nightly with the Grandstand Show and a firework finale that lights up the sky for all 10 nights. The Calgary Stampede is also one of Canada’s largest music festivals, with four stages and 100 performers, including a slate of international music headliners. Worldclass agricultural events and adrenaline-pumping Midway rides will entertain guests of all ages. Experience First Nations culture and traditions at Elbow River Camp in Calgary Stampede’s beautiful ENMAX Park. Tickets purchased in advance admit the ticket holder to Stampede Park on the date that the ticket is valid.

Great variety during a road trip through Canada
A true folk festival. It is very crowded but worth it in any case. Great view of the show from every seat, varied and worth every euro.

We had tickets for opening day July 4, 2025. Saw the 2 hour parade in the morning, then headed over to the grounds late in the afternoon. Weather was chilly so had to take a coat. Checked out the draft horses, and then headed over to the stadium for the evening show. WOW!! My first time at the Stampede and the show was spectacular!!!! Started with the chuck wagon races, Mark Carney was there for the opening which was cool. A helicopter flew overhead with a huge Canadian flag hanging down. Loved the chuckwagon racing! Crowd was really into it. When the stage started being readied for the band and evening show we were impressed with the whole process. Band was excellent, the motorcycles jumping and doing stunts over the band while they played was impressive! Dancers with boots on fire, acrobatics, amazing fireworks! HUGE 50/50 draw! Was just sooo impressed with the entire experience! had great seats - 4th row centre and had amazing views of everything. Made you feel proud to be Canadian. Was such an incredible experience! Definitely a MUST SEE.

Fantastic show with so many wow moments! The fireworks were up there with the world's best. A great way to soak up some Canadian culture.
