Brevard Zoo General Admission

Nicely organized zoo in a smaller town compared to some of the larger city zoos. Had a wide variety of animals and interactive and educational activities for young children and teens.

This zoo is fantastic. You can feed giraffes, fish and birds, see every animal imaginable, and the exhibits are very eco friendly. We had a wonderful day.

We had a very nice outing today with our 2yr old grandson. Lots of exhibits with the animals being quite active and easy to see. Lions, giraffe, bald eagles, monkeys, bears, alligators, jaguars just to name a few. We also rode the train for a short ride to see more a bit action, closer than the upper viewing platforms. The food options were a bit limited. The “splash pad” (a main reason for going) was closed - so that was a big disappointment. Maybe call ahead on that! The $31 for adult seniors seemed a bit high, but somewhat reasonable. A season pass for locals is the way to go. Overall a nice day. VictorB

We came for the 7pm illumination. It was very cool. Some of the animals were out. The lions were really active making noise, wrestling. Very cute. Not all concessions were open. But it was a fun evening. Definitely need to come back during the day when the majority of the animals are out.

For the amount of money you get charged per person. I feel you should be notified if there is going to be a field trip with hundreds of kids who were screaming the entire day, pushing tou out of the way because they had no manners or enough supervision it truly ruined our experience and I’d love a refund because it was crap if you ask me..the least they could’ve said is there would be a field trip going on

We had a great time!! We bought tickets the night before (Including the zip line package), which enabled us to save money and skip the lines. Volunteers were very friendly. It was a clean zoo and was really impressed with the "natural" habitats for the animals. I highly recommend going! I wanted to go on the kayak tour, but it was too hot. Next time, I would either do that first thing or later in the day. We were also impressed with the help/rescue provided for the animals. We paid additionally to feed the birds and giraffes.

I remember back in 1990 it coast $6 to get in. Must be New Yorkers have taken it over. $26 now and lights on are $44 during the week to $55 on the weekends. And the train ride was much much longer now it's a joke and it cost more it was $1 for a longer ride.. I guess the rinos needed a house so they pulled track for that. We sold my parents house they both passed away so glad we live in spokane Washington. Yes it's cold at time but no Hurricaines and cheaper to live there then this overpriced area.

I had a good visit, but as far as zoos go, I'd give it a 3.5. Not sure it's worth $35 per person, but free parking was nice. Loved how up close you could get to the giraffes. At other zoos, you usually only get such an up close view if you pay extra to feed them. Enjoyed the different bird exhibits. Loved how you could view Africa from above and also see far out. It really seemed like you were on a safari with all the animals being together-- loved that! The entire zoo was set up in an organized and easy to follow mantra. Unique how some of the enclosures went above and to the other side. The only thing is that I didn't see any animals using them. The section with the sloths (I can’t remember the name): I saw few animals in this section and wasn't even always sure what was supposed to be in the enclosures. It would be nice to have volunteers at each section. Some had several and others had none. There didn’t seem to be tons of programming like at other zoos. Overall, I had a great visit. It would be great for kids. If you live local, it’s probably worth becoming a member.

This is one of the best zoos I've been to. The animals seem extremely well cared for and their well-being is top of mind. This should be on your list of things to do in the area.

This is an amazing zoo! It is easy to navigate with easy boardwalks to take you into the different areas of the zoo. The animals have so much room in natural settings. The staff of the zoo were available and informative. We enjoyed our visit so much!
