Whether you're planning a hen party, a special celebration, or a night out with friends, our Party Nights Afloat are the perfect addition to your York adventure, welcoming groups of all sizes, big or small! From the moment you step aboard, you'll be greeted with a sparkling glass of fizz, you'll have a reserved table for your group, but with a live onboard DJ spinning hit after hit, you won't be sitting down for long! Get ready to dance to all your favorite floor fillers and feel free to send in your requests. Indulge in our delicious two-course buffet to fuel your dancing, and when you need a break, the bar will be open for all your drink needs. The party lasts for 2.5 hours as we cruise through the scenic city. Disorderly groups or excessively intoxicated individuals will be refused access or removed from the boat, without option of a refund. This product is NOT suitable for all-male groups or 'stag' parties.

Great night, good music and danced the night away. We were part of a hen group and made some great memories. Staff were fab on the boat.
The staff are fantastic. From the very start Kirsty helped me organise a private party and nothing was too much trouble. The whole team on the day were friendly and went above and beyond for us all. Thank you!
Oh my goodness this trip was fabulous. It was a surprise for our guests so we didn’t tell them until the Friday night at dinner that we’d booked a boat for the Saturday night and they loved it. All the staff on the boat were brilliant as was the DJ. Everyone thought the food was fabulous. Please pass on our thanks for a job well done. I can’t recommend city cruises highly enough
Couldn’t be happier! Originally booked the party boat but because of the lack of numbers we got offered a different boat (River King) for private hire for our hen do. Andy and Fraser were fantastic, really easy going, helpful and friendly. Hen do decorations were put up for us and we were able to play our own music. Drinks on board were very reasonably priced. We absolutely loved it! Neil and Ryan were also extremely helpful in managing our booking and helping me arrange the cruise. Very grateful.
Farah, Nathan and Scott were phenomenal hosts. Polite, fun and catering to the business’ every need. 10/10- all lovely and would absolutely revisit! xx
