We had a great tour...

We had a great tour guide, Johnny. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The CN Tower was interesting and the market had lots of food options. The boat around the harbor was ok but we should have done the walking tour around the islands.

Nice Tour

Our tour guide was good. The van was clean and he even provided us with bottles of water. The tour was on a Sunday after a Jays game so the traffic made the tour short. The boat cruise was just ok. The guide knew her stuff but spoke too fast. TheCN Tower was a Bucket list item and was a great experience.

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad you enjoyed the clean vehicle, bottled water, and especially your bucket-list visit to the CN Tower. We appreciate your understanding regarding the heavy Sunday traffic after the Blue Jays game, which unfortunately affected the tour timing. We also value your feedback about the boat cruise commentary and will keep it in mind as we continue improving the experience. We truly appreciate you choosing Zoom Tours and hope to welcome you again in the future! Kind regards, Hussain Zoom Tours

Great introduction to Toronto

We really enjoyed this! Was great to go to CN tower while it was so quiet. It was so fun but we would have liked a little longer up the tower and maybe have skipped the stop at the market! We also loved the boat tour. Great introduction to Toronto

Bad experience and poor customer service

1) the tour guide was very upset with the current immigration polices of Canada and made sure we all knew it (more than once) 2) I tried to reschedule the day (a day ahead of time due to forecasted bad weather and was told no by Viator 3) I booked a CND event using USD and was billed for USD. There was no disclosure of this. I would not have booked it had I known this l. Viator would not make it right 4) weather was crap and could not really enjoy the day. I am not planning to use Viator again

Operator response

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely regret that several aspects of your experience left you disappointed. We are particularly concerned about your comments regarding the guide repeatedly discussing personal views on Canadian immigration policies. Our guides are expected to maintain a professional, welcoming, and neutral environment for all guests, and we will be addressing this matter internally. Regarding the rescheduling request, currency conversion, and billing in USD, these aspects of the reservation are managed through Viator when the booking is made on their platform. We understand, however, how frustrating the experience must have been when you were unable to reschedule due to the poor weather and then encountered concerns regarding the currency charged. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention and will review the portions relating to our tour operations and guide conduct carefully. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide you with a much more enjoyable Toronto tour experience. Hamzah Manager, Zoom Tours

Terrible

Terrible and do not recommend. The driver/guide didn’t plan or account for the Blue Jays game and traffic downtown and we didn’t even get to do the water part of the tour. He had a poor attitude and said no refund or credit as we could do the water part the next morning. However, we already had plans and he was very rude and basically said “sorry about your luck”.

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize that your Toronto tour did not meet expectations, particularly that traffic delays affected the itinerary and you were unable to complete the water portion of the experience. We’re also very concerned by your comments regarding the driver/guide’s attitude and communication. Regardless of circumstances outside our control, our guests should always be treated respectfully and offered clear, professional assistance when an itinerary cannot be completed as planned. We understand that returning the following morning may not have been practical given your existing plans. Your feedback regarding traffic planning, itinerary management, and customer service will be reviewed with our operations team. We’re sorry this experience left you disappointed, and we sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide you with a much better tour experience.
