My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful day exploring Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula with Cape Convoy and our amazing guide, Randal. From the moment Randal picked us up at our hotel, we knew we were in for a special experience. We started our day walking through the colorful and historic Bo-Kaap, and then headed out to explore the Cape Peninsula. Our day included St. James, the penguins at Boulders Beach, Cape Point, the Cape of Good Hope, Chapman’s Peak Drive, Hout Bay, and Camps Bay. Every stop was beautiful and memorable, and Randal made the entire day feel effortless and enjoyable. We also stopped for lunch at a wonderful seafood restaurant after leaving the Cape of Good Hope. The food was delicious, and it was a perfect break in an already incredible day. What really made this tour exceptional, though, was Randal. He is extremely knowledgeable about South African history and the areas we visited, but what made him truly special was the way he shared his own personal history and experiences with us. He was open to every question we had and was happy to have genuine conversations rather than simply giving us a rehearsed tour. We learned so much about South Africa, its people, its history, and its culture. We have taken many tours in our travels, and this ranks among the very best we have ever experienced. The value is incredible, especially because it is a private tour. Having Randal’s knowledge, flexibility, and personal attention made the experience so much more meaningful than being part of a large group. If you are visiting Cape Town and considering a tour of the Peninsula, don't think twice — book Cape Convoy! I had a great experience with the company. The owner, Robert, was very responsive and flexible, excellent communication. Our driver, Randal, was great as well. Flexible, took initiative, showed us great spots, not just a driver taking directions but a good guide too.

Very good tour with Rob. Took us to additional spots where other, busier tours will not go. Good flexibility being able to discuss the day and what you want to see. Lots of information shared throughout. Very worthwhile and recommend for others to do!

This was my second tour with Cape Convoy and once again, it was an excellent adventure exploring the Cape Peninsula. Rob responds quickly to inquiries and was very helpful through the booking process which went smoothly. Our tour guide for the day was Randall, a delightful local who shared many fascinating stories about growing up in Cape Town. The scenery is breathtaking and we arrived early enough to miss the crowds for the obligatory photos at the Cape Point sign. As always, the penguins at Boulders Beach are a highlight and they were in fine form entertaining visitors. We were unlucky with the weather (torrential rain), but fortunately it held off during strategic stops, including Cape Point and the penguins. Randall knew the best stops for photo opportunities and where to get close (but not too close) to the seals. He was so flexible as we adjusted to the weather and added a variety of additional stops and drives so we could truly appreciate the beauty and history of the region. I would highly recommend a tour with Cape Convoy, and I will definitely book again on my next visit to Cape Town.

Wonderful Private tour from Cape Town down to Cape of good hope! Our driver was wonderful, informative, and knew how to beat the crowds!!! He offered experiences/options during the drive which was wonderful, we stopped in Constantinople at a winery on the ride back. We also did a private wine tour to Stellenbosch one day with this company as well! It was a perfect day in wine country!

Booked the full day tour covering Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Bay, Chatmans Peak and various other stops. Rob was a fun and knowledgeable guide through the day and, as promised, we avoided the crowds! A highly recommended tour for anyone wanting to see the sights of the cape in a fun and efficient manner.

Price-quality is good. Very reliable and safe expedition. It was our best day in South Africa. The driver/guide was very punctual and overwhelmed us with interesting information.

Farook was an excellent guide, he took us to all the sites we were to see but managed to explain everything, he was very patient throughout the day and just a very good guy to be with for the day. I would highly recommend any tour with Farook, certain he would not disappoint.
