Description
Enjoy a live-guided day excursion to visit the Penguins at Boulders Beach, Cape Point (the romantic meeting place of the mighty Atlantic and Indian oceans) and the Cape of Good Hope. This tour offers you over 1 hour at the penguin beach, over 2 hours at Cape Point to fully explore this gem and Unesco Heritage site and another 30 minutes at the Cape of Good Hope. Cape Point Entry is payable on the day (South African's with photo ID or SADC members with passports can claim a discounted entry price) Lunch can be enjoyed along the way (at your own expense). You can also choose to join the optional, guided hike from Cape Point to the Cape of Good Hope (approx 40 minutes, requires medium fitness & good walking shoes). After a day spent exploring, sit back in your seat and enjoy the coastal drive back to Cape Town via Scarborough and Kommetjie, with spectacular views from the Ou Kaapse Weg mountain pass. Free WIFI and USB charging stations at your seat.

Penguins and Cape of good hope
It’s a very good choice! We look penguins, we have a possibility to visit the New Cape Point Lighthouse. At the finish, we have a good memories, good photos and a fantastic views.

Would not recommend it to anyone
I was 20 minutes before at the meeting point. The bus wasn’t there. I tried to call the number was wrong I couldn’t reach anyone. They made me go from sea point to waterfront in a uber at my own costs. Wich was 150 rands extra. The bus didn’t wait for the Uber at the 2 next bus stops the uber add to go all the way so I would be able to join the tour. They told like 1 minute of their time couldn’t be waisted. They didn’t apologise or anything when I finally reach the tour. I m on holiday trip I never saw that before. I would not recommend it to anyone. Hopefully the guide was really interesting to listen.

We have checked our bus tracking records and onboard video which shows exactly who was waiting at each pick up point, which confirm that the bus attended each scheduled pickup point at the advertised time. These locations and times were communicated in your booking confirmation, voucher and the personalised email sent the day before your tour. This suggests there may have been a misunderstanding about the pickup location or time. We appreciate that this was a frustrating start to your day. To keep the tour on schedule for all guests, the bus must depart each stop at the scheduled time. Thank you for your positive comments about our guide. We hope you enjoyed the tour once you joined us, despite the difficult start.

Adventures, educational and fun.
We went to Cape Point and Boulders beach tour. We did not understand the instructions about the hike and where to find the red bus again. We got off at the top reception area and saterted our hike. At the top we heard other people that were on the bus that the bus will get us on the other side of think hiking trail. We felt lost and panicked because we were on time but did not see the bus or any other people that were on the bus with us. So during this panic episode I would like to suggest that we as passangers get a direct number to the bus that we are on to make sure we can communicate in any case of emergency. Also if something happened that needed medical attention, who can I phone for help???? So a direct number will be very helpful in case someone gets lost (like we did) or there is any other emergency. How will the exploretours know my personal name and number? If I get los or injured, how will the people (staff) on the bus know I am missing or lost? So my suggestion is to have the contact number of each passanger for these long and adventures tours and for the tourist to have a contact number directly to the bus. We really panicked. But overall the trip was fun.

Must do Cape Point and Boulders Beach
Amazing from start to finish 9:30 - 17:30. Neil was lovely very knowledgeable and helped us brush up on our history and geography!! Very well organised the team Neil, Wendy & Division were all super friendly & polite. You are earned snout admission fees and being able to buy tickets in the bus allowed us to skip big queues. Had a wonderful day thank you.

Wonderful daytrip to the famous cape
We had a lovely day. A lot of background insights on the Cape Town region were given. Cape point, the cape itself and especially the penguins were absolute Highlights. Totally recommend this tour to everyone visiting capetown
