Authentic San Blas Day Trip: Island Hopping & Community Visit

I compared several agencies before booking and Sea San Blas had the most complete rate with no hidden fees. It includes the transport logistics, the boat, and the fried lunch which was quite well served. If you want to see the archipelago without spending a fortune on expensive private tours, this option is worth every penny.

I went with my wife for our anniversary and I don't regret anything; I wanted something different and authentic from what we were used to and San Blas completely dazzled us, a beautiful and clean beach... you can see that they keep it well maintained, they also included a lunch with fish and fried plantains that left us wanting more because of how delicious it was...

it is a nice day trip, it is enough to see it, i will not recommedn to spend over night and even the total cost for the day is a bit high for value

I brought my camera that I got for my birthday and this tour was the perfect occasion to use it... I took some beautiful photos. Sea San Blas was super efficient: the 4x4 pickup at 5:15 AM was punctual and our driver handled the mountain roads calmly. Don't expect luxury resorts; you come here for pristine nature, fresh fried fish, and a crystal-clear ocean. 10/10

I am a photographer and I brought my photography equipment with the hope of capturing some tropical landscapes. I was blown away by the lighting and the textures. The wooden docks, the contrast between the palm trees and the ocean, The boat captain liked my photographs and was very kind praising them... it is a paradise for photography lovers.

The place is really beautiful, but the customer service leaves much to be desired, you have to ask the guides and drivers everything... they don't inform you of anything, not even times, zero communication with the passengers. The food was too basic, eating cold chicken in front of such a beautiful island was very disappointing. The guides don't inform you of times, expectations, or next activities; you have to keep asking everything. I would never return, and not because of the place, but because of the service and attitude toward the passengers.

In the middle of our dive in Dog Chico, my 10-year-old daughter let her glasses fall into the water near the rocks. We panicked thinking the holidays had ended there. Our captain of Sea San Blas didn’t even think twice: he wore the mask, dive deep into the weak stream of the shore and, in three minutes, came back with his glasses in his hand smiling. This empathy and agility of local guides has no price to pay.

The early morning trip through the jungle on the way to San Blas is not just transportation, it is a mini safari! Our Sea San Blas driver suddenly pulled over to the side of the road and pointed toward the treetops: a wild sloth was hanging right above us taking its time. It made the 4x4 trip much more fun even before reaching the water. The islands were impeccable and the local Guna team was super friendly. An unforgettable experience!

At first I found the price a little salty because it is only a day, but when you see the necessary logistics (the 4x4 jeep, the boats, the county fees), understand that it is fair. The beach is a beautiful absurdity, it seems they put an Instagram filter in real life. The Sea San Blas guide was rated 10 and helped us with the small bags on the boat

While the sandy beaches are incredibly soft, the areas near the coral reefs and the sunken ship have very sharp rocks and sea urchins. Our guide was great at warning us about this before we jumped in, but having water shoes made exploring the shallow reefs so much easier and safer. Don't leave them out of your packing list!
