Marquis Estate
After hotel pickup in Castries or Gros Islet, meet your experienced guide, who will ensure your ease and comfort aboard a fun and fully automatic Yamaha ATV. Hop on your ATV for an easy ride that takes you along trails to your first stop at a working banana plantation. Pass villagers going about their daily activities as you drive through small settlements on your way to the Marquis Estate, established in 1723. Situated on the stunning northeast coast of St Lucia, the Marquis Estate was one of the largest private estates during the island's heyday in the late 18th century. See for yourself as you look out over Marquis Bay with its pristine white sands and clear, turquoise waters. Tucked in a lush tropical valley, this breathtaking 500-acre (202-hectare) also offers relics of St Lucia’s past, including a water wheel, an old locomotive, ruins of a sugar mill, and even slave quarters that housed men and women who toiled under British rule until their emancipation in 1833.
Grande Anse
Next, head to another lookout point for some of the best tropical beach scenery on this side of the Atlantic! Stop at the top of Grande Anse Beach for refreshing fruit juices, and view one of the most picturesque beaches in the Caribbean. Your guide will tell you about the green, hawksbill and leatherback turtles that lay their eggs here from March to August. Before following your guide back to the base camp, learn about local researchers’ efforts to track the turtles, which swim great distances to return to their nesting sites each year. After your ATV adventure, you’ll be dropped off at your local hotel. A minimum 2 people per booking is required.

ATV
Quam was an amazing guide and we got to see lots of the community. It was well priced and we felt, it was an experience worth doing. The first part, I didn’t enjoy as the throttle hurt my thumb but the second half was amazing, as I used my whole thumb and not just the tip. It was my first time on a quad so it’s a learning curve. Overall it was brilliant!!!

BEWARE Check your charge card
We had a reservation for the ATV tour and had pre-paid for three people. Thirty minutes before our pick up time we received a text that said "due to unforeseen mechanical difficulties, all tours for today are canceled." They said a refund would be processed in a few hours. No refund was given and they actually charged my credit card again the next day. I contacted them twice explaining their error and requested both charges be refunded back to my card. After three days of no response I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. What a fraud! Do not book with these people!

Very Underwhelming
I really hate to write this because everyone we dealt with was genuinely very nice, but unfortunately this excursion was extremely underwhelming and not at all what we expected based on the description. First, our scheduled time was changed, and when we arrived, we were the only people there for the tour. The meeting location was a run-down garage in an area that made us feel a little uncomfortable, especially being the only guests there. Our tour guide was very, very nice, gave us clear instructions, and took us around the island, so I definitely want to give him credit for that! However, we were driving on the main roads probably 99% of the time. We went through one puddle/off-road area, but otherwise it really didn’t feel like the buggy adventure we were expecting. I also feel like the description reflects a completely different tour from the one we experienced. We did not see turquoise waters or any beaches, learn about the turtles, visit a banana plantation, or try any local juice. We mostly drove through local streets, went up to an area overlooking a lot of greenery, and stopped at the water wheel, which was honestly pretty underwhelming. Overall, I was disappointed because we were really excited for this excursion based on everything that was advertised. Between the experience being so different from the description and being the only two people there, I also felt a little uneasy about our safety throughout the tour. Everyone was extremely kind to us, which is why I hate leaving a negative review, but unfortunately the actual excursion just did not match what we thought we were booking.
