Description
Set of at 08:00 am and travel into South Africa's very first world heritage site. Sit back and let your personal ranger for the day give you all the information regarding this amazing and incredible park. Not only will one enjoy some amazing wildlife but also the chance to witness exactly why this park was proclaimed a world heritage site. You will travel towards Cape Vidal during this tour with numerous loop roads, hides and lookout points en route. Once you arrive at Cape Vidal you may have the opportunity to enjoy some snorkeling in the protected bay (weather & tide dependent). Enjoy a special Picnic lunch all the while enjoying the wildlife within the park.

iSimangaliso Wetland Park
South Africa's very first world heritage site. The Park was proclaimed as a world heritage site in 1999 and has since become one of the top destinations while in KwaZulu Natal. This tour includes a multitude of sightings, wildlife, and snorkeling in a Protected bay should the conditions be favorable. It's a day of game viewing, hides, loop roads and snorkeling. Not to mention a lovely picnic at Cape Vidal.

TukTuk is a great guide with Heritage Tour
Our guide, TukTuk, was fantastic! Being our first game drive. He went slowly, while his colleagues zoomed past us, yet our trunk saw far more animals. We're the first to see the Rhinos... He was great explaining the park and animals.

A wonderful day
We thought it was great all around. Everything worked perfectly, and we would especially like to thank our guide Arno. Very knowledgeable, with a lot of enthusiasm and joy in his work, he provided us and the other participants with an unforgettable and also very entertaining day. The fact that we also encountered a rhino in relative proximity in between was another highlight on top of that. Warm greetings to St. Lucia!!

Great trip!
We had a really wonderful safari and spotted a variety of animals, including warthogs, kudus, zebras, crocodiles, buffalo, hippos, and rhinos. Jaba was our guide. He knows a lot about the animals and birds. He truly lives up to his name: Happy. The chicken he cooked was delicious!

Wonderful Full Day Tour of iSimangaliso Wetland Park
We were collected from our St. Lucia accommodation right on time by our tour guide, Theo. He explained exactly what we were doing and gave us a brief, but detailed run-down of the park, it's history and geography. We were lucky enough to be the only guests on board, so Theo catered the tour to suit us. The vehicle was a typical 'Kruger Spec' Toyota safari vehicle, and while access was a little bit difficult for my wife (70 with a bad knee) it was excellent and extremely comfortable. We had morning tea at Catalina Bay and a delicious lunch with the monkeys a Cape Vidal. Theo was extremely personable, very knowledgable and his keen eyesight picked our animals and birds that otherwise we would have missed. I highly recommend heritage Tours and Safaris to anyone in the St. Lucia area.

Great safari - great tour guide - highly recommended!
We went on a half-day safari as a family, and it was really great! Our tour guide Zama was really funny, informative, showed us the best spots, and drove very well. We saw (baby) elephants, (baby) hippos, warthogs, zebras, monkeys, buffalo, etc. Strong recommendation!
