Great eye opener to details of history and culture
A good tour guide is like a pair of prescription glasses, they will have you seeing things you may have already passed by in way more detailed and interesting way. What we saw during my first pass through Asakusa: the oldest temple in Tokyo. What we saw through Kirill’s lens during my second pass through Asakusa: more specifically the oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo, the relationship between Buddhism and Shintoism in structures, and the impact of time and war on the area. Bonuses included getting help navigating our dietary needs at food/dessert stalls (we’re Muslim) and asking all our lingering questions since entering Japan a couple of days ago (from questions about transit to other regions of Japan to random posters we kept seeing around). Our tour felt truly personalized with the detours our questions took us on and yet somehow Kirill still gave us a thorough tour in the allotted time (3h, with 1h spent at the hado activity for extra cost) and took a few extra minutes to help see us off at the nearby station so we would not get lost on the way back to our hotel. He took many photos for us, seemed really enthusiastic about the history and culture he talked about, navigated the big crowd like a champ (it was toward the end of the day though and still crowded, Idk what it would be like in the middle of the day on a weekend). 10/10 would recommend.

A wonderful Tokyo experience where the past and present blend together
It was a very cold day, but the experience warmed my heart!
First, we visited Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, where I experienced a purification ritual and prayer. The guide taught us about the history, and we also enjoyed exploring many souvenir shops.
Next, we tried AR sports HADO, which was an incredibly exciting and energetic experience—I worked up quite a sweat!
I was delighted to experience not only the charm of old Tokyo but also the latest activities, making it a truly satisfying day.
