Lunch at local restaurant
Built on a high rocky left bank of the Mtkvari River, it contains various structures dating from the Early Iron Age to the Late Middle Ages and is notable for the unique combination of various styles of rock-cut cultures from Anatolia and Iran, as well as the co-existence of pagan and Christian architecture.
Svetitskhoveli sits at the heart of Old Mtskheta and is even more historically significant than Jvari. This is the ‘First Georgian Church’, erected on a spot chosen by Saint Nino herself. It houses dozens of precious relics, including (what is believed to be) Christ’s Mantle, a 4th-century baptismal font, and a piece of cedar wood salvaged from the original structure.

David our guide was amazing. He shared lots of history as we walked as a group to each site. He then gave us time to explore on our own. The trip was definitely worth the time.
Day 1 of 2 and so far so good! Great way to learn history and traditions of Georgia. Guide Mikhail is very knowledgeable about this topic and he is highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore this great country!
My tour guide was Data4. I was so satisfied with my first tour that I decided to book another one with the same tour guide in a different location. Once again, everything was excellent! The guide was friendly, respectful, and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the tour. They were knowledgeable, well organized, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. I would happily book another tour again and highly recommend them!
Very interesting tour (especially Gori and the Stalin museum) with an excellent guide who knew how to provide the necessary information in English and Russian.
The tour was wonderful. The guide, Vaxo, was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. He demonstrated extensive knowledge of every place we visited. I recommend this tour.
The tour was very well paced and Irakli had excellent energy and was very knowledgeable
Great guide, very interesting tour. Comfortable ride.
The pick up arrangement was a little bit messy as there were several pick up points. The tour guide gave enough information at each point, but more in Russian language. Overall experience was good though.
We visited very interesting sites but the guide’s English was quite mediocre and he explained much more in Russian than in English. That’s why we could not get a complete picture of the sites.
David was very good guide and very helpful, as well as very good organised. Responsive to all of the questions and concerns of 16 tourists at our day tour. Thanks a lot 👍🏼😊
