I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Van Gogh museum. Our guide Ank brought Vincent Van Gogh to life through her thoughtful explanations about his first works to his last. Professional and yet a very personal experience. Really, one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Her tour was very well organized as she took us through the the life of Van Gogh and his progression as a painter.
We,ve been in several museum tours as we travel around and always get very knowledgeable guides, but I have to stress that today’s guide, Titia, not only knows about Van Goh, but she’s also passionate about him and her enthusiasm is contagious. The tour is interesting because it’s not only the viewing of random and isolated paintings but a walk through van Gogh‘s life bringing together his highlights, struggles and his evolution as a painter. It was more than Van Goh, Van Great!!

THIS is the way to see a museum. Saw everything I could want to see, very efficient. Great having a separate entrance for groups as well - didn’t have to wait in the long line. Fannie is an awesome tour guide - great story teller - made it interesting for everyone. So much better than going through the museum on your own. Well worth it.
