This was the highlight of my stay in DR. It was so much fun. Hector was our driver and he showed us a really good time! We got plenty dirty and soaking wet but we laughed through the entire thing. The swim at the beach at the end was awesome. Each worker was so nice. You should definitely go here!!! You will not regret it.
So fun, booked a single buggy and a double buggy, not muddy this time of year but we got lots of water holes we had a great time and great views and the photos are phenomenal. We loved all the photos.
Was great def do it again .our buggy did break .but were quick to supply another .only hiccup was confusion on what bus to leave on .but overall wonderful def fo it again.it is bumpy lol
Overall this was fun. Expect to walk far to get to the transport bus. They dont have an agreement to be on the port. You will have to walk all the way to the street and down a little bit. They were very nice, had a back up following incase of any issues, and the small shopping area was a great experience. Definitely worth it and get the video package!

This was a great experience overall and a much better value than if we had booked through the cruise line. The guide was very friendly and informative. The dune buggies do need some TLC but weren't horrible. Ours didn't turn great but after my husband figured that out, he was able to adjust. The first sharp turn was a little bit of a shock! :) The Jungle Stop was neat. Some of the people working there were high pressure wanting you to buy stuff in the stores. We had never been to Amber Cove before so we were a little surprised at how far of a walk it was to get to the bus. Make sure you leave plenty of time if you are coming from a cruise ship for the walk to and from the boat. We typically don't do excursions provided by the cruise lines and it can be a little unnerving at times but with this one, it was only a couple minutes from the port and you can actually see the cruise ships a good portion of the time. We had 4 adults in our buggy. We booked through TripAdvisor so our bandana was included. If not, either take your own or BUY IT for $5. You will definitely need it! Like I said overall it was a great experience and we would do it again!
We had a great experience. Daniella the tour guide was so kind, knowledgeable. Papa Chocolate took great photos for us. Our driver got us closer on the entrance to the port so we didn’t haven’t to walk as far. The dune buggies were so fun! The course could have been better (we just did the river course twice, it would have been cool to see other things on the second go round) but everyone had a blast. Highly recommend. After the dune buggies there were places to change so bringing a towel and change of clothes is nice. The van followed us everywhere so we were able to leave our stuff locked up which was so helpful.
The absolute best buggy tour I’ve ever been on. And the guides were amazing, paparazzi was spectacular, the route was exquisite. Everything was so beautiful even the locals and the villages and the beach.
Tour was very fun the guide was great , we really enjoyed ourselves. The price wasn’t too expensive for the time that we had. We stop on the country side for samples of chocolate, cigars and the home town drink 😎
This was an amazing experience! Would highly recommend for a family or group. We had 11 in our group and they did a great job accommodating everyone from the 50 year old to the 7 year old.
