Straightforward pick up on time. The guide, Moses, was helpful and informative and kept the group together. Stunning walk- the 25 Fontes was a bit of an anticlimax as the rest was so lovely. Would do again.

The 25 Fontes Levada Walk (PR6) is one of Madeira’s most famous and beautiful hikes. Starting in Rabaçal, the trail takes you through the lush Laurissilva Forest and alongside Madeira’s traditional levadas – historic irrigation channels that carry water across the island. Along the way, you will discover rich native vegetation and beautiful natural scenery before reaching the highlight of the hike: the famous 25 Fontes lagoon, where numerous natural springs and waterfalls cascade down the rock walls into a beautiful lagoon. Great trip to 25 fountains
We have enjoyed a great tour with a very competent guide and a nice group of people. We can highly recommend!

Tour operator - No show
Very disappointed as tour operator did not show up to pick us up, for our walking tour, and was not contactable by the phone number given on the booking voucher. After waiting over an hour at the pickup location, I contact Viator via the app who were very helpful and organised a refund as they were all so unable to get in contact with EXPLORE NATURE. Thanks to this company our last day in Maderia was spoiled. Would be extremely wary booking with this company. Still waiting for them to reach out to me to give a good reason why our trip was not fulfilled. We were at the specified pickup location 15 minutes before the required time. One very unhappy traveller.

Excellent walking tour
Amazing walking tour! The guide was very knowledgeable and considerate about making sure everyone was happy with the pace. Scenery was incredible, not just the waterfalls but the whole way there

Nice walk with some interesting points. Recommend waterproof boots and a torch for thr tunnel section.
Well organised from the hotel pick up to the drop off afterwards. Paulo our guide worked hard to make sure everybody in the group was comfortable with the pace and kept informed about what was happening. The poxt walk coffee/drinks stop was definitely a case of going the extra mile! Definitely Recommended!!

We had a wonderful day walking in the laurisilva with Paulo who looked after us well and was informative about the history and nature of the area. Highly recommended.

Paulo lead us on a very enjoyable walk along the levedas and through the laurisilva. He looked after us well and was informative about the history of the area and its wildlife habitats. We had a really good day.

Excellent tour!
Paulo was excellent on our tour! It was quite a leisure walk, with some inclines but nothing too strenuous. Lovely views! Definitely bring waterproof shoes as the tunnels are quite wet.

Enjoyable hike to 25 Fountains
We were collected on time and had a pleasant drive to the start point. Our guide was very considerate of our safet, priding torches for the tunnel and tailed the walk to our needs. Our guide was very interesting and well informed about the environment, flora and fauna of the area. He allowed ample time to take photos and look at the native vegetation and birds. We would certainly book with them again and recommend them to friends.
