PR6 & PR6.1 25 Fontes & Risco Levada Self-Guided Hiking Rabaçal

Lots of stairs! Very busy hike. I would almost say an earlier pick up time would be even better if you really want to experience the waterfall without crowds. Our driver Diogo was very nice and knowledgeable and punctual.

We really enjoyed this trip. PR6 is a beautiful, lush and green trail, although it does get a bit more crowded around midday. Our driver was very friendly, and we had plenty of time to comfortably complete both PR6 and PR6.1 without feeling rushed.

Diogo excellent .. punctual collection, assured driving, gave sensible expectations for the walk. Helped us arrange the hiking permits. A very enjoyable day.

It was great idea to start early we ended up having the entire trail to ourselves. It was great for having the waterfalls to ourselves for pics.

Unfortunately, it does not explicitly state that you have to buy the tickets for hiking yourself in advance. We booked the tour and then wanted to buy the tickets online. However, we then realized that no access was available on that day. In the end, we still received tickets from the tour operator 👍🏼 Clear information stating "you also need an online ticket for the day, please check this before you book the tour" would be desirable (at GetYourGuide, for example, this is clearly described)

Hike was great, driver was great however the whole tour could be a hour less. We were nearly 3 hours waiting around for the driver yo collect the group

Booked via Do it Madeira, even ambiguity about adding the fee for the park but good assistance. We were picked up by Adriana at 5:35, early but so worth it. Adriana was also such a nice woman, lots of tips before and after the hike. Compliments!

Great value for money lovely guide

Filipe was a great driver, very safe, and very friendly. He explained the walk to us at the start very well and met us back at the starting point for pick up, giving a good amount of time to see all the parts of the walk and stop for a drink. He also suggested a little view up a slight hill which was brilliant. The walk itself was easy enough to just follow the signs, take water and snacks as you will need the energy for the uphill climb back. But a beautiful walk.

Pedro was excellent, friendly, talked about the island. Highly recommend. There was enough time from drop off to hike both and pick up. He gave good advice.
