We went on the Pompeii for Kids private tour with Alex and it was honestly our favorite tour of the entire trip! Alex was incredible with all six of the children in our group all while making the adults laugh. He is very knowledgeable and a true teacher in how he explains things to the children. I highly recommend Alex if you are wanting a knowledgeable, fun, personable, and entertaining tour (even with kids!). One of my son's said, "Mommy make sure you give Alex a five star review!" And my other son said a few hours after our tour, "I want to go back to Pompeii." Alex made an impression on our children and has helped them to appreciate a treasured piece of history. Thank you, Alex for giving our family and friends such precious and meaningful memories! I only wish I could come back and also do the private tour for adults. :)

Amazing for Kids!

We have done many tours on our holiday but without a doubt, Alex’s tour of Pompeii for Kids was definitely the best. He is friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable about Pompeii and its history and culture. Our children (15 and 12 years) said this was the tour they got the most out of and they liked Alex’s sense of humour. We would 100% recommend one of Alex’s tours to anyone wanting a personalised Pompeii experience.

Highlight of our trip to Naples
From the very get go Alex was easy to contact, friendly and made the booking process super easy. I had some additional questions which he answered quickly and clearly - he even alerted us to a nationwide rail strike that may have affected our journey to Pompeii. When we actually met Alex, the children warmed to him immediately. Alex has a natural ease with adults and children, the kids understood him and found him really fun, he pitched the information to their age range perfectly and he kept them interested. Alex struck the perfect balance between fun stories for the kids and genuine historical info for the adults. This was honestly the highlight of our trip and, when back home, my son told his friends he made a "cool friend" on holiday! I would definitely recommend these tours to anyone travelling to Pompeii - Alex's enthusiasm is contagious and you can tell how familiar he is with the site, and how much he loves the history. Perfect balance between knowledge and fun
With Alex as your guide, you're in for a treat. His kid- (and adult-) friendly tour was insightful, fun and engaging. He managed to keep the attention of two very high-energy 7- and 8-year-olds throughout the whole experience, which is no small feat. Fantastic family tour of Pompeii
We booked Alex for a private kids’ tour of Pompeii and he was absolutely amazing. Great communication before and after the tour. The Best Way to Visit Pompeii
My entire family (adults and kids) thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Alex! Of all the kid-friendly tours we did throughout Italy, Alex was the best at keeping not just the kids engaged but remembering us adults also. He made the tour so meaningful by really emphasizing learning about what life was like at Pompeii before and at the time of the eruption. Phenomenal family tour with young kids and grandparents - despite the heat!
Alex hosted 6 of us at 12:30 on quite a hot day. Despite the heat and crowds, he kept us all engaged ranging in age from 7 to 76. His knowledge of the ruins and enthusiasm with kids truly can’t be beat. Highly recommend!
