Great way to see the city. Captain Jay was awesome! He was concerned with keeping us safe, together and teaching us about important landmarks. He took time to take photos along the way. He was also super funny
This tour was booked weeks out before our trip to Boston. However, the Nor’easter was a surprise and due to its very rainy, gusty winds, and potentially dangerous forecast, I had reached out to the tour operator to see if the tour would be canceled. Ben, the tour operator, replied that it was rain or shine, Ponchos provided. He also asked me if we could delay the tour from 10am scheduled time to 11am, and we accommodated to his request. Upon looking into the cancellation policy, it said final sale, no cancellations, no refunds. I understand that. However, we are very disappointed that because of the weather situation, we didn’t feel comfortable riding a Segway in the rain, and that Ben refused to refund our $198! When I inquired about it after the tour time, he said the tour went out without us, and that we were considered a no-show. I know there are many positive reviews for this tour, and we were looking forward to it. However, the way Ben went about not to refund us for the tour, despite the nasty Nor’easter weather, was upsetting. We felt he didn’t care about our safety concerns with the rain and wind while riding on a Segway, he truly didn’t understand from our perspective.
Easily one of the best things to do in Boston. We had Rick as a tour guide. He was amazing. So knowledgeable and helpful. You have little radios on your segway and he talks to you as you ride. There's several stops to get off and take photos and stretch your legs. Rick was more than happy to take photos of you along the way. 2hrs flew by.
Our party of two was the only ones that decided to brave the weather. Captain Rick was more than happy to take us out and even took us to sites we had not seen on other tours. He was very knowledgeable and shared great stories. It really was rain or shine! Look forward to more segway tours in the future. Would highly recommend.
Emmett was amazing and we had a great time. Loved all the history and information shared about Boston. We would highly recommend doing this tour when in Boston. Great and unique way to see the highlights.
My name is Richard. My wife, Naomi and I always try to book a segway experience when visiting a city for the first time. The weather was perfect for our tour of Boston. Thompson, our guide, was probably the best we've ever had...he was knowledgeable and charismatic. We learned a lot and had fun!
Our guide was wonderful! Very knowledgeable with a great Boston accent
Captain Rick was wonderful and made sure everyone was comfortable on the Segways. None of us had done it before. It was a beautiful ride and nice stops with explanations. My only advice would be if you feel uncomfortable with one Segway try a different one cause they have different feels. One I was concentrating a lot and then someone switched with me and on the second one was easy!
Shout out to our guide, Jay. He was great!
