2-Hour Boston North End Food Tour with Authentic Italian Flavors

Description
Dive into the historic grit and gourmet soul of the "Cradle of Liberty". We’ll bypass the typical tourist traps to explore the city’s oldest corridors, shifting from the maritime majesty of the waterfront to the legendary cobblestone streets of the North End. The journey begins at the iconic Quincy Market, the crown jewel of the city’s 19th-century urban renewal. Standing beneath its massive copper dome, you’ll discover the market's transformation from a wholesale meat center to a world-class gathering spot. As we cross into the North End, the aroma of roasted garlic and fresh bread signals your arrival in Boston’s oldest residential neighborhood. We conclude your adventure at the Boston Public Market, a vibrant indoor hub that celebrates the rugged spirit of New England’s farmers. Surrounded by stalls of fresh Atlantic seafood and artisan crafts, we’ll gather for your Secret Dish, a savory specialty that captures the essence of Massachusetts heritage.

We had a wonderful experience learning more about Boston and tasting great food! Elizabeth, who is Italian, knew so much history about the North End to make the tour so enjoyable.

Sean Delaney was an excellent tour guide and knows Boston history. He shared his knowledge with ease and had personal experience with the proprietors of the establishments we visited. We had a very congenial group on our tour and everyone enjoyed the food, the information shared, and the company. Sean was especially helpful when my husband had a fall, and continued to check on him during and after the tour. I highly recommend this tour, and if Sean is your guide it will be a bonus.
We’re grateful that you took a moment to leave feedback. It’s always encouraging when guests connect with the places, stories, and flavors that make each experience unique. We hope to see you again with Secret Food Tours!
Jessica was fun and thorough. Her pre-tour text was welcoming and finding her was easy. We have done many Secret Food Tours around the world and this had more stops and more full portioned servings than others. We left stuffed and happy.
Feedback like this gives our team every reason to keep doing what we do. We’re happy to know the day brought something extra to your time in the city and left such a positive takeaway. Thank you for choosing Secret Food Tours!
I didn’t realize it was an “express” tour, felt kind of rushed. The food was delicious and loved the donut.
We appreciate you taking a moment to leave this review. It’s rewarding to hear that spending part of your day with us became an overall enjoyable choice during your time in the city. Secret Food Tours would gladly welcome you back!
