Booked this excursion independently for a cruise stop in Le Havre. Instructions and pickup were smooth. Vexperio had multiple staff with flags to indicate where you should go. The coach had AC, was clean and neat. There is a very small bathroom on board as well, but we made multiple stops with bathrooms available that the guide points out. Our guide was Bertrand (Bert). He is a history buff and very knowledgeable. He was so enthusiastic about the history and gave us such an informative ride to and at all the sites. He was wonderful! Our bus had a small issue with the AC and the company sent a second bus to switch out to, even though the problem resolved. We just so happened to visit on a slightly warmer day 80*F. Though each site was breezy being near the ocean. This was a must-see on our trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this port. I could not, as an American, not see the Normandy sites for D Day. Lunch was delicious! A quintessential French ham and cheese sandwich on a buttered baguette, water, macarons, a Madeline and chips. Very filling. They ensure you will get back in time and discuss it with you before take off. Book this tour!
The trip was magnificent and the tour guide was very interesting
This was a very well run tour. Bert and the driver were prompt and gave clear information for every stop. It was comfortable and the bag lunch made our day smoother! Bert was so knowledgeable about the area and the war and was more than happy to share and field questions. We would recommend this tour! Excellent!
I like that the meeting point was just off the cruise ship, and that on the bus the guide explained new things I didn’t know about history, WWI WW2

If you're considering an off-ship excursion from Le Havre, don't hesitate to book this tour. The pickup and drop-off process was seamless, and we felt completely at ease choosing this excursion over one offered through the cruise line. Our guide, Ash, was exceptional. His knowledge of the D-Day landings, World War II history, and the events that unfolded on these beaches was truly incredible. He shared the information in a way that was engaging, respectful, and easy to follow, making each stop even more meaningful. A special mention also goes to our driver, Charles, who was fantastic. He navigated the route with ease, making the journey comfortable from start to finish. The coach itself was clean, modern, and very comfortable, which made a long day of touring even more enjoyable. The itinerary was perfectly planned, with just the right amount of time at each location to explore, reflect, and take photos without ever feeling rushed. A wonderful surprise was the homemade lunch, which was fresh, delicious, and the perfect break during a full day of sightseeing. Our stops included a short break at a rest stop/shop, the American Cemetery, Omaha Beach, Pointe Du Hoc, and the German Cemetery. Our lunch break was at the Overlord Museum, and we had great weather for an outside lunch. This was one of the most memorable excursions of our trip. If you want an informative, well-organized, and moving experience of the American D-Day Landing Beaches, this tour is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!
Took a tour with Ash thru Viator to see Normandy and the D-Day Beaches. Was a little worried about booking not thru the Cruise but they were prompt, picked us up right outside the gates. They provided lunch as well.
