The entire experience was well organized. The guide, Alex, is extremely knowledgeable. He made it even more fun with his humor. The driver did a great job as well. One of the best tours we’ve had and well worth the money paid!

We had a truly exceptional full-day tour of Omaha and Utah beaches with Overlord Tours, and our guide Remy was simply outstanding. His knowledge of D-Day history is incredibly deep, but what really sets him apart is how he brings it to life — the stories, the maps and photos, the personal details about the soldiers who landed there. It never felt like a lecture; it felt like history unfolding in front of us. From the American Cemetery at Colleville to Pointe du Hoc, Sainte-Mère-Église and the beaches themselves, every stop was meaningful and perfectly paced. We also loved the lesser-known gems along the way — the Longues-sur-Mer battery with its original guns, the La Fière bridge, Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, and the little church at Angoville-au-Plain, which served as an aid station on D-Day. Remy was warm, professional, and clearly passionate about the subject. The van was comfortable and everything ran seamlessly from pickup to drop-off. If you're going to Normandy, book this tour and ask for Remy. Five stars, without hesitation — one of the best guided tours we've ever taken.

Only one German cement gun emplacement to see at Utah (where the Rangers scaled the sea cliff), which had been under construction at the time so no guns were ever there for the invasion. Used to be able to walk the bomb/artillery craters but someone sued after falling in one so now you're restricted to a blacktop path. Never saw any other gun emplacements at Utah where the main landing took place. The museum was good. Never saw an any German positions along the top of Omaha or got an idea of what the Germans were looking at as the Americans landed at Omaha. We just went to the beach and saw some monuments.

Great tour guide who was very knowledgeable of the events that took place and the history of the area. It helped she was a WWII buff as well.

Good to get to see both Omaha and Utah beaches as well as US and German cemeteries. Matthew was very knowledgeable.

Full day tour of Normandy was worthwhile. So much history learned from English speaking tour guide. Sights were incredible but emotional. Tour guide, Axel had good visuals. She was amazing.
