メディナの裏通りを縫うように進む4時間の夕方のフードツアーでは、ラバティスが本当に愛する料理を紹介する15＋テイスティングに立ち寄ります。 テイスティングは多すぎてフルリストには載せられないが、新鮮なアトランティック・サーディンを塩漬けにして炭火で焼いたもの、ジャージ・マッカリ・チキン・タジンの煮付け、ハリラの温かいボウル、パリッとしたパン粉で揚げたオーベルジン、フレークチキンのブリオワット、定番のサラダ・マロカインなどが見どころだ。 夕暮れが深まるにつれ、スパイスの効いたメルゲスラムソーセージ、柔らかく蒸したラムラス、ナッツのアムルーと合わせたジュベンマウンテンチーズ、そしてカリカリのフェッカスやオレンジの香りのするカアブ・エル・グザルなどの繊細なモロッコのペストリーがテイスティングを続けます。 これは磨き上げられたファインダイニング体験ではなく、ラバトの食べ方を正真正銘の目で確かめる体験です。 首都の食文化をより深く理解し、地元の人々が最も知っている方法を味わいながら旅立つ。

Amazing guide and amazing food! Excellently introduces Moroccan cuisine in the deep corners of Rabat. Youssef offered really nice background of the culture alongside the food. Definitely a must do tour if you are new to Rabat and Morocco!
On this tour, I was out alone with Youssef, the tour guide. Youssef has very good knowledge of Moroccan cuisine. His very good English makes it easy to follow his explanations and to exchange ideas with him. In the Medina, there are numerous options for dining - but Youssef knows the best places and has a few insider tips, such as a stall that only serves relish. (I had never seen that before - but people like it, as the shop was well visited.)
Youssef is a talented guide who shared several special dishes with me. I have been on more than one food tour in Morocco and much of this food was new to me. Honestly, the best tasting tajine in my two month stay here in Morocco. I also enjoyed the pickles, sausages and fresh cheese.
A great start in Rabat! We arrived around 3pm, had skipped lunch especially and the food tour started at 4pm. There was really a lot to eat :D and everything tasted quite fantastic! Youssef had a story to tell about every dish and restaurant/food barn, which made it even more exciting. Highlights included the pickled vegetables and the cow's head (yes, you should definitely try the latter, we even had it again the next day!). Funnily enough, even a wedding took place during the tour, we stopped briefly and waited for the bride and groom.
Youssef was a really good guide. Very interesting and informative. We got to sample Moroccan street food we would never have had. The food highlights were: delicious vegetable & chicken tagine and a scrumptious sardine and spicy sandwich. We were also unexpectedly invited in to a wedding reception - friendly welcoming people. The tour was good value though we would have preferred to have paid a little more and had some food that was more tasty. Perhaps the range of food was a bit limited.
We a n amazing time on the Rabat evening tour. This is the third tour with a chefs tour tour that we have done and we are always amazed at the spots they find. This is our go to food tour. The tour was about 3 1/2 hours long, in a small group of 4. Youssef the guide was amazing and spoke great english. Talked about the history, as well as the history of food in Morocco. 100% recommend.
