Informative and hot! It was a great pace for the tour, make sure you have a copy of your passport or ID on you for the Colosseum. Def bring plenty of water (you can refill at the fountains throughout the tour. Bring a small umbrella or wide brim hat for the Italian sun!

We had a terrible experience with Rome With Silvia. We had confirmed tickets and a booked Colosseum tour for 3 adults and 2 children. When we arrived at the meeting point, the guide informed us that we were not on their schedule at all. From that point on, things only got worse. We repeatedly called the office and received absolutely no help. Our calls were ignored, there was no attempt to solve the issue, no alternate guide offered, no rebooking assistance, and no accountability whatsoever. Instead of trying to resolve the problem for a family standing outside the Colosseum with children, they simply cancelled our tickets on their end and left us stranded to figure everything out ourselves. Completely unprofessional and extremely disappointing, especially considering this was one of the main experiences we planned for our trip to Rome. I would strongly recommend booking with a more reliable tour company.

The private tour allowed us to travel at our own pace. We could ask questions and have conversations about different related topics. It was great to see the Colosseum from a variety of perspectives. Our tour guide was exceptional.

We had an incredible tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill thanks to our amazing host! Loretta (I’m blanking on the name) were incredibly friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, bringing the history of ancient Rome to life. She made the entire experience memorable and answered all our questions with enthusiasm. Highly recommend!

Viator left us hanging. The local tour operator did not offer this tour on the day we picked, however Viator still booked this tour and took our money. Viator has been declining in the past few years and after this last negative experience we will not use them again. My advice- STAY AWAY! Choose another tour company.

Alessandro was an excellent tour guide. He was informative, had photos to show the before and now, and provided a comprehensive tour of the Forum and Colosseum. Thrilled!

Terrible company. Avoid this tour! All of the other tours at the meeting spot were organized, on time and leaving as planned. A group of 15 of us were left stranded without a tour guide. She showed up eventually after moving locations several times in the heat and apparently the tour company gave her a time 30 minutes later than they told all of us who booked the tour. Poorly organized. The guide was nice and knowledgeable but the tour did not match the itinerary in the description. Skip tours with Sylvia! All of our other tours in Rome were seamless!
