Vera was so helpful and friendly. She went at our pace and shared a lot of great information we would never have known without her as our guide. The tour was a perfect amount of time and she took us to a spot where we found a great cafe afterwards.
Tour was well paced between the 3 sections, i.e Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palantine Hill. Gabrielle tells just enough as not to be too overwhelming. Her English was clear and she ensures she speaks not too fast. Great tour and the small 6 in a group allows better interaction. Recommend this skip the line tour. Wasting 1-2hrs queueing under the hot sun is a definite big No. I'm glad I make the right choice of tour agent.
Eva from sweden was our tour guide of the Colosseum and surrounding arena areas… she was fantastic, knowledgeable and interactive with the group and her passion for history exuded. She answered any questions posed and kept the tour flowing nicely… initially I was skeptical about a guide and would have wondered around on my own but Eva the guide really added to this experience and you were still free to take photos and wonder a little bit.. We booked a private tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum with Chiara the day the areas ended up getting closed due to tragedy. We were naturally disappointed with the situation but not at all with LivTour or Chiara. Chiara was knowledgeable and engaging with reference photos and diagrams to help explain where we were and what we were looking at. Before the end of the day LivTour had already reached out saying there were working through the situation on there end. Great things to say about Chiara and the tour just a rough day for reasons totally out of their control.
So much history to see and our guide DanieleV did an excellent job. Really appreciate the earphones, It really helped with the crowds hearing you and us lagging behind at times. Also appreciate you finding that shade for us! He took his time and answered all our questions, was very patient with everyone. Helped us get through all the security and explained what to do and was needed. Like I said there was so much to see and explain both inside and outside the colosseum and we had a great time. It was breathtaking inside the colosseum. Very easy meeting spot also and definitely recommend the tour.
Debby, our tour guide was amazing. Unfortunately during our tour the Colosseum closed due to a worker tragedy the night before. This closure was a rare event and our guide and LivTour handled the unexpected event well. Our guide was so knowledgeable and continued our tour around the area. LivTour also made things right by reimbursing a portion of our tour cost even though the closure was out of their control. I highly recommend LivTour.
