Elvis at Kenko Adventures was nothing short of a miracle worker. He had the entire Machu Picchu experience completely wired, and his knowledge, timing, and organization made an enormous difference. He somehow knew exactly how to navigate the logistics that can make Machu Picchu overwhelming. He got us onto a special bus line that allowed us to avoid the absolutely apocalyptic lines we saw other visitors dealing with. He also hiked Huayna Picchu with us and timed our arrival perfectly so that we could enjoy it before the crowds really built up. It felt like he knew exactly where to be and when to be there every step of the way. Beyond the logistics, Elvis was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and fun to spend the day with. He clearly loves what he does and was able to bring the history and significance of the site to life without ever making it feel like a lecture. Most impressively, when our Inca Trail permit was revoked because of the temporary shutdown and reduction in trail volume during the summer of 2026, Elvis was incredibly accommodating. He suggested several good alternatives and did everything he could to salvage the plans, but when none of the alternatives appealed to us, he simply refunded our money without hesitation. We’re admittedly pretty demanding travelers with high expectations, and Elvis consistently lived up to every one of them. He was flexible, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure we had the experience we wanted, rather than trying to sell us on something that wasn’t right for us. If you’re going to Machu Picchu, I can’t recommend Elvis highly enough. He turned what could have been a complicated, crowded, stressful experience into one of the highlights of our trip. **Ask for Elvis — you will be very glad you did.**

Excellent personalised tour with just my wife and I with the guide (Elvis). Got to Sungate by 11.45 after stopping for lunch just before and so lots of time in Machu Pichu. Bucket list experience.

I contacted Kenko Adventures when I couldn’t find any circuit 3 tickets to Machu Picchu as they were all sold out on the government website. Elvis somehow managed to get us circuit 3 tickets and secured them along with circuit one. He then coordinated our transportation from Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes where we stayed the day before going to Machu Picchu. He also coordinated our return tickets and transportation to our hotel in Cusco. Everything went so smoothly, we never had issues with reaching him. He answered all our questions promptly. He was extremely knowledgeable during our Machu Picchu tour and also a great photographer, he knew all the best photo spots. We had an incredible experience and we would’ve only seen circuit 1 if it weren’t for Elvis and Kenko Adventures. Highly recommend, they make things happen and customize the tour to your needs!

We did the 1-day Inca Trail with Kenko Adventures and our guide was Miguel Angel. It was truly an awe-inspiring adventure trekking on the same path which the Inca people had taken to reach Machu Picchu. Our guide, Miguel was very knowledgeable and very encouraging, especially when we have two children with us. He was able to moderate the pace of our trek, while at the same time encouraging us to push onwards towards our destination. During the trek, Miguel would share pieces of information about the Inca Civilisation and the nature and geography of the region. The lunch break was great too, having our own tent, tables and chairs to rest and relax. The food was awesome too. We have gained lots of knowledge and invaluable experiences on this adventure and would highly recommend Kenko Adventures for their Inca Trail adventures.

We had such an amazing experience touring with Alvin. We did a tour of Sacred Valley and the 1 day hike to Machu Picchu. He was on time, organized, and incredibly knowledge about the history of Peru. Without hesitation I would recommend this tour group to others!

I did the Inca trail and Machu Picchu tour with Miguel. He’s a lovely guy. Very sincere, well connected to the culture and spiritual elements. Knows the history very deeply. Really lives and breathes this stuff. I had a great time, felt very in touch with the land, and got some epic photos. I’d definitely recommend it!

Elvis from Kenko made our 1 day Inca hike absolutely memorable! The views themselves were spectacular, seeing old ruins and walking through the sun gate was to Machu Picchu was breathtaking but what really made the tour was the guide :) Elvis was extremely knowledgeable and shared that he was fluent in Quechua the ancient Incan language and that he practiced the old religion so he shared so much with us about these things and it really helped us feel connected to the old incan trail. Also he was just a lot of funny, easy to talk to, had great English, and was a great photographer, pointing out the best stops for photos. The tour was super organized and they handled all the logistics so I didn’t have to think. ALSO we got to eat chifa, Peruvian food which I’ve been DYING to try!! I already told a bunch of ppl about how great the tour was and can’t recommend it enough :)
