Our Machu Pichu experience (4D/3N) was exceptional from start to finish. Every single member of the team on the mountain from guide to porter to cook was amazing. Our guides Abelardo and Lourdes were clearly passionate about their culture and bestowed so much of their knowledge onto us. Compared to those who arrived on train, or were with other guides, we felt we had a rich 4 days of understanding the Incas in a way we wouldn’t have been able to without them. Abelardo’s knowledge of Machu Pichu was exceptional and was only made clearer when another guide entered a room after us saying “oh yes this is … another building” after we had just had a very in depth explanation of the buildings function and history. He and Lourdes also had a great sense of humour which kept us going through the tougher parts of the hike. Regarding the food, it’s hard to explain how exceptional it was - it tasted amazing and the presentation put restaurants in towns and cities to shame. Hygiene was impeccable. Not a single person was sick. Water was boiled for us every day. The chef Julio and his sous chef are to be commended. And then the porters - what amazing people who carried our gear every day, set up camp and took it down. It was all very organised and led by Alejandro. None of us could quite believe how great they were and they also engaged in some fun activities, introducing each other in Quechua. They were all so warm and it was a great value trek. It didn’t end there as the train home was also fabulous. Once in a lifetime. We will remember it forever.

My sister, two friends and I did the 4-day Inca Trail with TreXperience, and we look back on it as an incredibly special experience. The trail itself is absolutely worth it: the combination of the beautiful landscapes, the various archaeological sites, and finally arriving at Machu Picchu makes this an unforgettable trek. Our guide, Monica, was fantastic. Along the way, she shared lots of interesting stories about the history, culture, and places we visited. She also kept a close eye on the group. When one of us became ill, she took very good care of them and was incredibly attentive and supportive. Every day, the food was very well prepared. The meals were not only generous but also really tasty. After a long day of hiking, it was wonderful to have such a good meal waiting for us. It is good to know that you shouldn’t expect too much from the bathroom facilities at the campsites: the toilets are very dirty and there are no showers. This is part of the conditions on the Inca Trail, but it’s definitely something to keep in mind beforehand. All in all, I would definitely recommend TreXperience. The organization was good, our guide was caring and knowledgeable, and the Inca Trail itself is an experience you won’t soon forget!

We had the best time on our 4 day Inca trail trek to Machu Picchu! Filio (our AMAZING guide) and the team of porters and chefs are the best and truely made our trip a memorable one. We were looked after beyond our expectations. The chefs catered to my allergy, there was always so much food and it was delicious. We conquered challenges with support. With a group of 6 people, we made new friends, shared lots of laughter and created wonderful memories. Priced extremely well and every cent was worth it. We love that TreXperience is 100% locally owned and operated by local Peruvians based in Cusco. What a wonderful experience! I was genuinely awe struck with how organized, elaborate and educational this trip was! The communication of the booking and pre trip briefing answered all questions and concerns, our pick up and drop off was spot on time, the tour guides Wilian and Lordes were passionate about educating and supporting all the trekkers, the food... oh my goodness... I still don't fathom how they packed the supplies for those meals! Also, it was my birthday on day 2, and they made me a birthday cake complete with my name written on it. A cake. In the middle of the Andes mountains. With less than 24 hours notice. I can't put into words how amazing this was, and its all because of the impeccable staff at TreXperience.

The four days on the Inca Trail with Wilian Elvis and Lourdes as guides were unique. The organization and communication during the entire trail were seamless. Lourdes and Wilian Elvis were able to tell us a great deal about the Incas and their history during the hike. You can tell with what passion the two of them do their job. In addition to our two guides, the porters led by Justino Mamani did an unimaginable job. Every day they carried our duffel bags, the tents, and quite a bit more, and set everything up in time for our arrival. At lunch and in the evening, we were provided with excellent food by the chef, Felix. Overall, I can highly recommend Trexperience. We had a great group and really enjoyed the Inca Trail. It's a shame it was only 4 days!

This was such a great experience, one of the best of my life! Wilian and Lourdes were great guides who made the trip so much fun and enjoyable. Wilian was so passionate about the land and the history and truly cared about each and everyone of us. I would recommend this company to everyone!

The 4D/3N Inca Trail with Willian Elvis and Lourdes as guides was super! The two of them are just bursting with expertise about the Inca sites and life there, and they convey this with such warmth. The equipment provided (tents, air mattresses, sleeping bags) was very good! We were not cold at any point. Felix's food was always fresh, varied, and they even accommodated vegetarians! The porters also played a big part in the trip, as they not only carried the luggage but also set up and took down the tents. Special thanks to the Head of Porters, Mr. Justino Mamani. From the first briefing the evening before the trip to the lunch together in Aguas Calientes, you could feel a great atmosphere; I can recommend the tour without reservation!

Had an amazing time! Everything was above and beyond. Our guides, Willian Elvis and LuLu were so knowledgeable. Most importantly, they were so passionate about sharing their culture and community. Willian knew everything there is to know about the King’s Inca Trail and brought great positive energy. Lulu was amazing as well! Very kind and kept us all in good spirits! The chef, Felix, cooked food beyond what I thought possible, out in the jungle and mountains. He and his team are very talented. The porters were incredible. They are so strong, never complain, and do their work with care. I wish I had time to meet them all. I would recommend this hike, especially Willian and the whole team, to anyone who asks!

We did the 4-day/3-night Inca Trail and it was an incredible experience!!! The organization was incredible, William (our guide) was magnificent - without him, the trail would not have been the same, he knew how to accompany us, encourage us when our strength faltered, and help us discover the history of the different archaeological sites! Another 10 also to the rest of the team, cook and porters, their work was also impressive!!

Our 4-Day Classic Inca Trail experience was absolutely unforgettable, and so much of that was thanks to our amazing guides, Abelardo and Rene, and our wonderful cook, Lucio. From the very first day, Abelardo and Rene made us feel like we were taken care of. Their patience, encouragement, sense of humour, and deep knowledge of the trail brought every moment to life and helped us appreciate both the history and beauty of this incredible journey. A special thank you to Lucio, whose meals were a highlight every single day (including one breakfast delivery on the side of the mountain for us slow-pokes). We were constantly amazed by the delicious, hearty, and beautifully prepared food he created in the mountains. Every meal felt like a gift after a day of hiking. Together, this team (including all the staff and porters) created an experience that was not only seamless and professional, but also full of warmth, laughter, and genuine care. Every request was taken care of (and our group had many). We will always remember reaching Machu Picchu, but we will remember the people who got us there with even greater gratitude.
