The choice of food to cook was excellent, the chef was a great teacher, we had a wonderful experience

During our 4 day stay in San Sebastian, my girlfriend and I took the private cooking class. It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend enrolling in any event that Mimo offers. Our chef was so knowledgeable, funny, kind and patiently responded to all of our questions. We learned some nifty cooking techniques, which I hope to replicate at home. The meal we cooked together was absolutely delicious and introduced us to new ingredients and ways to prepare food. We very much appreciated the tour of the market beforehand. A must do!

Our family of seven (kids ages 10, 12 & 14, plus grandparents) had the best experience at Mimo! Chef Patricio was patient, engaging, and a true master teacher—he made it fun and educational for every age. We cooked talos, croquetas, a delicious meat dish, and Basque cheesecake, and every step felt hands-on and authentic. The school is beautiful and well-organized, and the team even sent us recipes afterward so we can keep cooking at home. Three generations all agreed this was a highlight of our trip to San Sebastián. We’d return in a heartbeat—highly recommended!

Wonderful. Well done. Chefs are fun and relaxed and funny. Food was delicious even though we cooked it. Enjoyed a full meal afterwards. We had 37 people for a wedding and it was a wonderful way to break the ice for the weekend. Highly recommend!

We expected to learn a lot and have some good food and we were definitely not disappointed! It really was a fantastic day, thank you Patricio and Rhys for looking after us so well. We learned a lot, had a lot of fun and tasted some incredible food and fantastic wine. This was the highlight of our trip and I would highly recommend it to foodies of any level.

A very authentic, educational paella cooking class which was also very fun. I had no idea how easy it could be to cook paella with only two main items (eg shrimp and squid or chicken and green beans). And sharing comida afterwards was a true pleasure. Highly recommend!

This was an incredible experience. AS a vegetarian there are some limits on what I can cook so we made tortilla española and cheesecake. So much fun with all the tips on how we can make these at home. I recommend Mimo highly and am hoping to get back to do more.

The restaurant is below the Marián Christina Hotel and has an incredible atmosphere. Eneko, our chef, was about as charming and amiable and informative as could be, and the food, as one would expect in the Basque Country, was top-notch. Innovative and delicious! Highly recommend this experience.
What a marvelous experience!! High-end cooking by Eneko and a great teacher in the way he explains everything, using great products.
