We had a great afternoon with Carlos in the market and at Kookin! We learned how to select the freshest fish and a few other items to make our meal. Then at the cooking school Carlos taught us how to put together a delicious meal, step by step. Working in pairs, we prepared a cod omelet, hake filets with clams, steak & peppers, and finally the simplest and most delicious cheesecake I’ve ever tasted. Thanks to Carlos for a wonderful time. Highly recommend!!

My family and I had a great market tour and cooking class with Carlos. I’m not sure that we earned a Michelin Star but the experience certainly deserves one! Thanks again Carlos.

This started with a very informative tour of a local market, followed by a short walk to the cookery school where we made several courses. Our teacher, Carlos, spoke excellent English and was relaxed and engaging. The dishes were simple and satisfying and wine and cider was provided to drink with the food. We very much enjoyed the morning

Super nice experience! I learned a lot and the class was super educational and fun. The staff was very friendly, super attentive, nice, and patient. They guided us in every step of the recipes and taught the procedure with care. In the group, there were people who went both accompanied and on their own. And even going on your own, the class is designed to share and include you in the group, or with your work partner. So you become part of it anyway, a very nice dynamic.

Very enjoyable experience! We had a good time in the market and learning about the all the fish and meat. We learned some new skills ( ex rolling an omelet ) and our chef gave excellent instructions. Only challenge was the we were an older group and some found it hard to keep up on the walk from the market to the cooking venue. Highly recommend this class!!
