The audio system on our tour picked up so much background noise that we often could not understand what our tour guide was saying. Some sort of noise canceling microphone (or better mic placement) was really needed. The tour guide knew her stuff when we were in quieter settings in the church. David was the best part of the tour.
Wonderful food and cultural experience with Mattia. We ate delicious food from Bologna, had fun with our group and your guide. We would definitely recommend this food tour!
A very relaxed and good hearted tour at a steady pace. Mattia introduced us to the best foods and wines and explained their provenance and relevance to Bologna and the region. From cured and cooked meats to tortellini in broth, linguine with ragu, properly made lasagne, cheese and balsamic and finishing with the best gelato I’ve ever tasted everything was perfect! Mattia obviously takes great pride in his city and its cuisine, and loves to share this with his guests. We’ve been on several food tours and thoroughly enjoyed them all, but this was that little bit special.
Valentina was spectacular with her knowledge of the city and the history of Bologna. All of the food and sights were incredible and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour as it was small and intimate. Thank you so much for an incredible day!
What a great day, very informative and made better by our host Riccardo. So much to see and do with lots of fun along the way. Our tour ran overtime but I don’t think anybody cared including Riccardo. I would certainly recommend this tour to all. James
