I booked the trip online weeks before my travel. I knew as everyone does it Sundays are free admission, but I wanted an English Tour Guide. TripAdvisor should well this yet. They sold me a ticket through someone that canceled because Sundays were free admission. This is common knowledge. I will not use TripAdvisor again.
The company travelers tour did not show up at the meeting location. I called them and was told they do not offer tours on Sundays because the museum is free on Sundays. I have no idea why they allowed us to book a tour for a day when they weren’t even operating. Very disappointing experience.
Unsatisfactory service. Waited for an hour for tour guide. Failure to communicate that there was no tour until last minute. Several people waited and were very in happy. Will never recommend this to anybody traveling. Will contacting bank for full refund.
Organization person late, no signage and very short when asked a question. Was not a pleasant start to tour.
Very disappointing experience. I’ll admit I missed the fine print, but it needs to be MUCH clearer when booking that admission to the Accademia Gallery is not included in the tour price. Arriving and then being expected to pay additional money in cash felt extremely scammy, especially when we had to chase someone down first for our change and then again for our actual tickets. The tour itself wasn’t much better. There was very little explanation or context about the artwork—the guide literally said, “you are looking at art” at one point. The entire meetup and ticket process felt disorganized and unprofessional. If admission isn’t included, that should be clearly stated upfront, not buried in the fine print.
Felt cheated. The name suggests that the package is for skipping the line. It is not explicitly mentioned that we to buy the tickets again. Also the meeting point was in a crowded area. Very chaotic. The guide was not very knowledgeable
You are not getting a ticket to enter you will have to pay another £48 to the guide on the street very disappointing we were not the only people who were fooled
Our train got delayed I tried to text the tour guide never text me back I just lost my money they don’t care they just want your money.
No where could I find a trip advisor sign The host was wearing a blue shirt with some name that I never saw. Were stood around and missed out time Waited for the next tour and then was told I had to buy entry tickets…. No where booing this did I see a pop up message that tickets were extra € Our guide was hard to understand and the background noise was overwhelming. Noise cancellation microphone would a must for all tour agents in places like this
Antonio was a great guide, the wait was significantly shorter with this ticket but do note the ticket to the museum is not included in this price but easily purchased at the meeting point. Enjoyed this a lot
