Save Your $—Guide Yourselves

High hopes; terrible mics and barely understandable guide made this an awful experience. We couldn’t make it through Uffizi as we were too hot and tired from crowds, no AC, excessive extra walking, and losing our guide who wasn’t much interested in the tour herself. Suggestion: start at the Uffizi and golf cart to Academia. We spent way too much time in Academia and Piazza Signoria. Way too hot and too much walking in Uffizi and outside in blazing Italian summer heat.

No wait, on time, and knowledgeable staff

Laura did great job explaining history and background of important pieces and eras of the artworks. It started on time and very professional. Timed entries without waiting was super nice. I highly recommend it.

Amazing art to see!

Analisa was wonderful!!! Group of 10 and she knew so much and made the tour so fun! We didn’t know what to expect and we are so glad we did this tour!

Costanza was an excellent...

Costanza was an excellent guide and helped us navigate only the best sights in two very large museums. 10 out of 10.

Very nice tour of two landmark museums

Very nice and informative tour. Our guide was nice and very knowledgeable but she walked so fast that we lost her between Accademia and Uffizi (though found her before entering Uffizi), wish she kept her identifying flag up regularly.

Great guided tour, highly recommend

Our guide did a great job explaining what we were seeing and providing interesting tidbits of information. It was a rainy day so the museums were packed (mid-May) and she was able to get us around efficiently. The tour covers the highlights of the museums and you can spend more time at Uffizi at the end. Uffizi is huge with so much Christian art. Without a guide (and background knowledge of the art), you’ll be lost in hundreds of Mary and Jesus paintings. Our guide explained how the artwork evolved in chronological order pointing out the details. Highly recommend!

Get your meeting address right?

The address provided to meet was not correct! Personally, that causes anxiety! The directions is the text message were not consistent with the reality.

Uffizi

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we hit all the interesting highlights! It was very crowded but we still managed to see most everything

Annalise was amazing!

Our guide, Annalise, was excellent! Extremely knowledgeable! The tour covered the highlights only at the Accademia and Uffizi which was perfect.

Expected a little more

We took this tour last week and our tour guide was Renata. The tour itself was good but not special. We all had a hard time hearing with the headsets provided. They only had a single ear piece. Air buds were not compatible. I happened to have my 2 ear plug in style with me so I was able to cut down most of the background noise. Two other family members with me did not & really struggled. Another couple on the tour basically took there headset out 1/2 way through. Renata is knowledgeable but it was just not a fun or exciting tour. She seemed to be going through the motions. I think it was obvious everyone was done half way through due to the loudness of the facilities and crowds, she spoke softly & it just was not a good experience. Maybe was just not a good day.
