What a fabulous night! My family booked this class as a nice activity in Barcelona and it exceeded our expectations. We were able to prepare the Sangria (wonderful!) and a quick Tapas (so good!), then we chopped up ingredients for the Paella. Tim was terrific - so nice! We never met the Chef, but he was very accommodating. Helpful hint -- if you prefer the chicken or vegetable Paella, instead of the seafood, please contact them prior to your class to let them know your preference. We were able to cook/mix the ingredients for the Paella - under the watchful eye of Tim. This is a real hands-on cooking class; you don't just watch someone else cook. The Paella was excellent and we had a terrific evening. I highly recommend this activity for both foodies and novices!

Such gracious host and delicious recipe! When another tour canceled because we were the only booking at that time slot, Foodie XP accepted our last minute reservation and welcomed us into their beautiful multi use space. They had a large dining area, full bar, professional kitchen, an outdoor cooking area and one of the best record collections! Fernando is super knowledgeable and you will be able to taste the passion he has in the meal you prepare. One of my top experiences in barcelona!

Fernando is the best! We had a hilarious group of French people with us which made it really fun. The paella and sangria were excellent and interesting to make. The venue is really cool/modern with great music. It was a great night.

Definitely worth the time and money! Fernando was an excellent teacher! Lots of good food and fun. Fernando let us make a chicken paella for a fish allergic member and the others of us made the usual seafood. Definitely a great experience!

This is a must do experience. Everything was well planned and everyone was friendly. We appreciated the on the spot accommodations that were made for a family member that we forgot to mention was allergic. We loved the hands on experience. Thank you so much.

This was a fun, authentic, hands on class in a lovely atmosphere, with music and outdoor space and an excellent teacher! Highly recommend!!

This is a must do experience with your family or friends. The people at Roots Gastro Pub were amazing and made this a really fun event. The paella was so good and the sangria was a perfect drink to wash it all down! GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!

We had such a great experience! We had 8 in our group and there were 2 other people that joined our class! Lots of good food, fun and fellowship!

The Chef was patient and fun. He took the time to explain every part of the process and shared personal stories of various recipes. My daughter wanted to take notes so she could re-create the dish and he was helpful making sure she had it all. This was a highlight of our trip and would definitely recommend to anyone who loves to cook. Such a great experience!!

My sons and I had a great experience! Our chef was a wonderful teacher with an obvious love for the food and the preparation. In the end, the sangria and paella were delicious. If we make our way back to Barcelona some day, we will be right back in his kitchen!
