Alfonso was a wonderful teacher and we had a wonderful time! Very fun and easy to talk to, and you could tell he was passionate about cooking and teaching. 100% recommend!

Learnt so much in a fun and relaxing environment. We felt welcomed by Alfonso and his partner right from the start. The rooftop is special where we learnt to cook the paella and then eat, along with the gazpacho and sangria we made earlier in the night. Now that we have the recipes we can’t wait to cook for ourselves.

Excellent experience, great host and a wonderful location overlooking the harbour. The paella class was so much fun a great group of people all lucky enough to enjoy the best Paella and Sangria ever.

This experience was so warm, inviting and intimate. The experience of being welcomed into such a beautiful home by the hosts was unforgettable. We learned a lot about paella preparation and, more importantly, the finished product alongside the gazpacho and sangria were fabulous. This was a very special evening that I will always remember!

I booked this cooking class solo and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. The chef was incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived. He opened his home and greeted everyone with a glass of champagne, which immediately set a relaxed, friendly tone. Once the rest of the group arrived, he gave a introduction to the class and walked us through the paella and sangria right in his apartment. From there, we headed up to the rooftop to cook the dish, and that's where the experience really came alive. Watching the sun set over the marina while our paella cooked was unforgettable. The view alone made the class worth it. The paella itself turned out delicious, and it was so satisfying to eat something we made ourselves with that view. We ended the evening eating together, sharing sangria and getting to know the other group who joined. It felt intimate and authentic, not like a typical touristy cooking class. Even going solo, I never felt out of place. The chef made sure everyone was included and having a good time. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Barcelona, whether solo or with a group. It's a perfect mix of hands-on cooking, great food, and one of the best views in the city.

A wonderful experience! The chef was incredibly kind and patient, and the rooftop terrace at sunset was absolutely gorgeous. The gazpacho, paella, and dessert were all perfection. It was such a lovely way to start our holiday in Barcelona!

Such a pleasant experience! Hosts were wonderful & expertly explained selection of foods & processes for making Paella. Each guest was fully involved in preparing the sangria, gazpacho & paella. Even novices were made to feel confident in their preparations! Rooftop view & dining was beautiful & comfortable. Although we were the oldest among the group members, all were congenial & had a fine dining experience. Highly recommend this experience.

First rate…delicious food and wonderful conversation with a great chef. My son had a blast…what a great experience being in someone’s home and learning to cook delicious paella. Food was amazing!
