Incredible day with Charles and Alfa! The bikes were in great shape and well maintained. We went mountain biking in the villages on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, a perfect way to acclimate the day before our Kili trek. Alfa was awesome about checking in and giving us breaks. We stopped for a lunch break which the tour provided and it was a plentiful, fresh box lunch! Then Charles gave us a walking tour of Moshi. He was a wealth of knowledge and we thoroughly enjoyed learning from him and chatting with him. 10/10!

Well organised start to end. Safari by Leo was responsive and friendly online. They provided a generous packed lunch. And George, my guide, was fantastic. He’s patient and considerate and led through traffic expertly to keep you safe. The ride itself was way more challenging than I had expected, after not cycling for a good 15 years 😅 There are rocky and undulating unpaved roads that take up a fair bit of the route so do make sure you’re comfortable enough on the bike for that. It’s good value compared to the other deals I see offered for similar routes, so would recommend this for those interested in the tour

Wow. This was such a perfect way to spend a day in Moshi. George was a perfect cycling guide (patient, pleasant, caring for my safety). The company owner, Charles, picked me up at my inn and after the tour showed me several local sites by car and on foot … a real bonus to a great 4 hours / 30km of cycling plus a delicious boxed lunch stop. There were a few cultural stops on the circuit but this is really about great cycling. (NOT a flat city walking tour on wheels like in many large cities.) Thanks to George, I made it, but the first half is a constant incline of 500m in elevation. God is good with the most beautiful paved downhill I’ve ever experienced. If you are even an occasional recreational cyclist like me (aged 65 female) you should book a day. But be sure you’re healthy and strong. Hakunu matata!

Georges was an amazing guide, along with Manuel (futur guide in learning). Lots of knowledge shared, about the Chagga, history, nature, and much more. They also made sure I was safe on the road and everywhere. Some part of the road are challenging, I walked and it was fully respected. No pressure, so it was enjoyable! A great way to visit the villages, stay active, learn and share. It ended with a tour in the local market, interesting !! We get two bottles of water and a lunch (a savory one with protein and more) I definitely recommend.

Our experience is perfect, Charles take us to night market, eating local street food, roof top bar watch sunset, next day take us to Gorge and he son ride bike with us to different villages, to see village life , we are so happy with tour, definitely recommend

I am an avid cyclist, so this was the most ideal way to see rural Kilimanjaro/Moshi. George was the most wonderful guide and was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable. He was extremely patient when I struggled up some of the hills, and he was really encouraging. I could not recommend this tour & George as a guide more!!

Charles & George were absolutely great on our bike ride on the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro. Very patient very kind and full of knowledge. The visit of Mbuyuni market in Moshi Town to wrap up the day was amazing too. I couldn't recommend them enough !

An excellent way to orientate yourself around the Mt Kilimanjaro area cycling through Moshi centre and up into the coffee plantations & communities living there. We had loads of fun with George on the cycle tour and Charles with a tour through Moshi town. Both were knowledgeable and so friendly, eager to share their enthusiasm for their area and its rich history. Bikes were in good condition with different sizes available, company easy to contact, and packed lunch was extensive. All-in-all, a professional and personalised experience. Quick note - the first half of the cycle is somewhat strenuous for anyone who doesn’t regularly cycle. Perfectly doable mind you, but be warned that some sweat & effort is involved.

I had the absolute best first day in Tanzania thanks to Charles and George. I can’t recommend this enough. Nowhere else will you get such access into villages and insight into some of the hidden gems in the surrounding area. The bike tour was an excellent workout ahead of my Mt Kilimanjaro ascent! Beautiful views and rainforest ride when we went off road. The walking tour was exceptional. I had mentioned that I am a coffee addict so we were able to stop in a coffee factory to see them roasting beans and then stopped for the best coffee I’ve had in years at the Union Coffee cafe. Charles knew so much about the history of Tanzania and East Africa and was generous with his time and energy. We were also lucky since when we got to the rooftop of a hotel in Moshi the clouds parted and we could see the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro. Magical! Thank you for such a lovely first day.

The views were absolutely beautiful. My guide, Alpha, was very patient and gracious as I struggled. Definitely challenging but worth it.
