Matt was an awesome guide, telling us about things and history in Dublin and the surrounding country side we would otherwise have never known from typical history books and accounts. The attractions were awe inspiring to say the least.

This is the best day trip tour from Dublin I went on. The tour guide was excellent: he was knowledgeable, charismatic, and considerate. Here are my thoughts on the (major) stops: - Bru na Boinne (Newgrange): This place was the highlight of our entire Ireland trip. The incredible history of these structures and their beautiful location in the Boyne Valley were unforgettable. - Monasterboice: This is a small stop that punches way above its weight in terms of experience. Some of the most intricate Celtic stonework is here on the larger than life high crosses. Mix these locations with our guide's incredible story telling and you get a top tier experience.

Just on the way home from Newgrange & Boyne Valley tour. Matt is a fantastic guide - very knowledgable and interesting and throws in a good dollop of humour when he can! It's a great trip - well organized and professional - and I learned a lot from it. Highly recommended!

This was an exceptional tour. Matt was superb. He was very knowledgeable of the history and the places we visited. He was humorous and fun and kept us listening. I learned so much in that 1 day about some of the history and troubles of Ireland. I highly recommend this tour and ask for Matt.

Great guide on the bus! Matt was fantastic, knowledgeable and fun. He actually held the tour up a bit until we made it. Dublin traffic was crazy! Give yourself plenty of time!

The passage tombs at Knowth and Newgrange are specatacular and reveal that although the people who made them lived primitively, they were rather advance in their understanding of astronomy, engineering, and architecture. The included visit to the site of the Battle of the Boyne was a real let down after the tombs. Skip that if you can.

The driver/guide lacked attention and courtesy. We took 4 excursions with Viator and this is the only one we would not recommend. Too many comments.
