All I can say for this trip is: JUST BOOK IT! This was so much fun! Sean our guide, was fantastic. He explained pub culture and the beer we could experience. We also were in a small group and had a very nice time meeting and talking with our fellow tour participants. Sean created this warm and friendly environment from the start. The pubs were lovely and the beer was great!
If you’re looking for a nice afternoon at some local pubs outside of Dublin, this experience is for you. Shane was very knowledgeable, upbeat, and friendly. We enjoyed this experience and would do it again! On a side note, this experience is great for those with decreased mobility as you are dropped off right at the pub!

This was a great tour. Shane was very informative, provided a great narrative and we had a fabulous time. The 3 pubs were perfect with each one showing their distinct personality/ ambiance. 100% recommend and would book again if/ when we return to Dublin

This was my third time taking this tour. It’s my favorite! Shane was our guide, and he’s the best. I don’t know how he keeps everyone name and engages them. He’s an excellent driver too. I told Shane I’ll see him next year when we come for the Ryders cup! With some other family members for him to meet! This is the one tour that I will not miss. Can’t wait to go again!
Hi Sharon, Thanks for your repeat custom & so happy to know you're already planning your next visit. Until the next time 🍻
The Afternoon Dublin Mountain Pub crawl was fantastic! Shane is such a warm and welcoming guy, and very funny too! He takes you on a picturesque drive to some amazing pubs and makes sure everyone is having a great time! Can't recommend this tour more!!

I highly recommend the country pub tour with Shane. We went to three pubs in the countryside just outside of Dublin and they were all expecting us and had reserved tables. The tour group was small and friendly and Shane was an informative, friendly and fun tour guide. Shane had a happy group, singing Irish toons on the way back to Dublin. This tour was perfect as we wanted to see a bit more of Ireland other than Dublin.
Thanks for joining us & for taking the time to leave a review. Lovely to know you a great time. Many thanks Rural Pub Tours Team
I went with my family and it was a wonderful experience. The guide Shane was so good, the best guide I’ve had. He was super funny, nice and knowledgeable about the pubs and drinks. I would recommend this tour to anyone as it was my favorite thing from my vacation to Ireland.
