Exceptional tour, even higher praise for Shane the tour guide. As someone who works with people daily I was only looking forward to some quiet pints, was not looking forward to engaging with other people on Holiday. Shane has a rare talent of connecting you to the area, the moment, the people in and out of the tour in a comfortable, stress-fee, fun, genuine, easy-going way. Nothing felt forced, there was no pressure to be in the spotlight. It was simply existing in the moment as a part of the surrounding. I've been to Ireland many times. Best experience I've had so far. If you got anxiety and dread going out with a group of strangers... that was me before the tour...melted away on the way to the first pub, gone after that first pint. That's Shane....maybe it's the pints as well...mostly Shane. Thanks Shane. Will be back every time we're in Dublin. Think my dad has been on 34 tours with Shane. It's as much the tour as the tour guide.

It is a great way to see the Ireland countryside and experience the local side of the country through it’s pubs

I've taken the Rural Pub Tours Pub Crawl through Dublin and the Wicklow Mountains three separate times: once solo, once with friends, and once with family. Every single tour has been the absolute highlight of our trip to Ireland. Shane is an exceptional guide who perfectly balances entertainment, local insight, and history. His knowledge of Irish culture, the history of beer and whiskey, and the stories behind the pubs and villages is incredible. He brings Ireland's rich heritage to life in a way that's both educational and fun. What makes this tour special is that it's much more than a pub crawl. You get to experience authentic rural Irish pubs, meet locals, enjoy stunning scenery, and learn fascinating details about Ireland that you simply wouldn't get on your own. No matter who you're traveling with, solo, friends, or family, this tour is an unforgettable experience. After doing it three times, I can confidently say it's one of the best tours I've ever taken anywhere in the world. I highly recommend booking it as part of any trip to Ireland. Thanks again, Shane, for creating such memorable experiences!

We were a group of nine girl friends who had the absolute best time touring with Shane. From start to finish,Shane made the experience so much fun and memorable. Shane was friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and such a great host.We shared so many laughs and created memories that the nine of us will be talking about for years to come! If you’re looking for a tour with great traditional Irish pubs, lots of laughs, and an amazing experience, we highly recommend Shane.. We couldn’t have asked for a better time! ☘️🍻 Thank you, Shane, for an unforgettable experience

We had the most amazing time! The pubs chosen were all unique, fun, inviting. Would highly recommend this tour!!

We had an amazing tour! The pubs were lovely. Getting into the countryside to experience local pubs was a great chance to see their role as community gathering sites. The trips between the pubs were amazing, with the beautiful Wicklow mountains providing incredible scenery, and our guide Shane keeping us laughing throughout. Shane is a phenomenal host! Best tour ever!!

Unique tour that allows you to visit & experience local Ireland. Shane is great and really makes it a great experience. Highly recommended!

A great option for a slice of life view of Ireland’s pub culture. Really gets off the beaten path and the locals at each pub were eager and excited to meet us. The small group format and stops at several pubs allows you to make quick friends with your fellow travelers. Shane is an excellent tour guide and his energy is infectious and fun. Highly recommended.
