ダブリンからウィックロー、グレンダロッホへのガイド付きウォーキング小グループツアー

The tour itself and our guide, Kevin, were good. It was not as described through Viator. I enjoyed our first stop, Powerscourt as I love gardens. However, it was not listed on the stops. We took a drive through the Wicklow Mountains. According to the tour description, we were to have a 90 minute guided hike which did not happen. We stopped at Poppy's for lunch and then continued to Glendalough. We were dropped off and told to return in about 90 minutes. In the tour description, we were to have a guided tour of the area. I did have a nice hike to the two different lakes. We were also supposed to have stops at SallyGap which did not happen either. I did enjoy the tour but it was nothing like I was anticipating.

To start with what was positve: the Powerscourt Gardens were spectaculr/ What was deeply disappointing was the Glendalough portion. I picked this tour becsuse of the brochure's photograph of a beiatiful unobsructed view of a lake. We could only peer through trees to see the lower lake. For the upper lake, after seeing the momastic site, we woul have needed track shoes to get to the vista pictured. We had no guide, and no map.. Signage was minimal. We spent the last half hour of our time there worried that we would miss the bus. And indeed the bus did not come to the bus pickup spot, buwas parked in an out-of-the-way lot. Multiple tour members besides us were lost and had to deal with the panicky feeling of not knwing where one was. This is not what was promised or pictured. I think we (Ron and Margaret) are entitled to a partial refund

This was a good day trip to Wicklow and Glendlough. Enjoyed the small group size and pretty landscapes. And learning about the bogs and peat that is still burned as fuel. But I wish the guide would’ve told us at the start what our itinerary would be, as our group was heading for 3 different activities at the same time. I would’ve skipped the guided walk at the start and chosen to see the gardens at Powerscourt. By the time we got to the place to hike to the Glendalough lakes, was too tired. Overall, Kevin was a safe driver and a good guide. I especially enjoyed it when he shared an old legend involving the warrior god who imitated a baby to get out of a fight with a rival. Thank you Kevin!

Derek was informative and entertaining as well as punctual. He kept everything on schedule and was an excellent driver. We enjoyed the day.

Wonderful excursion. Beautiful scenery, excellent van ride, and our guide Kevin was very knowledgeable with the area and its history.

This tour is wonderful. Filled with very interesting information, some fresh air and beautiful scenery.

Amazing level of customer service. They were dedicated to helping us, going above and beyond what I would ever expect. The tour was touching, educational, varied. Scenery was spectacular. Lunch spot had great Irish stew. Was just what I had been hoping for and more.

Amazing day! Linda was everything you are looking for in a tour guide. The views on the walk/hike were amazing, lunch in Enniskerry was lovely, the drive through the Wicklow mountains picturesque and Glendalough intriguing. Highly recommend. Will definitely be checking out other Hilltoptreks tours on our next visit to Ireland.
