We had a fantastic day, really nice and complete tour showing the monastery and the lakes, the views of the Wicklow mountains and the town of Kilkenny, great value for money. Our tour guide Vinnie and our driver Greg did an amazing job, Vinnie was really good at telling and explaining the history behind the places we went to and was very entertaining the whole trip, very nice guy and 100% recommend.
Pat & Joseph are both very good at doing what they do and working together as a team. My group of 8 friends really enjoyed themselves and Pat taught us a lot about all the places we stopped & passed.
Tour guide Theresa was very knowledgeable and passionate about her heritage. I have enjoyed the tour tremendously!

Mac our guide was very knowledgeable about the history, landscape, and lore of Ireland. The stops were beautiful and we were given many recommendations for our time in Kilkenny.
The guide Mac was very knowledgeable and spoke clearly. He gave good history and information of the areas included in the tour. The optional walking tours with Mac gave good insight of the areas, otherwise it would have been just another wandering around. The Kilkenny Castle was extra cost for entry. The guided tours are not conveniently scheduled. The self guided tour booklet was not effective. The Castle wasn't as interesting as some others I have toured in the UK. It would have been better time spent to sit at a pub and taste the local beers. The tour was well organized. The coach was comfortable and the driver Alec took good care of driving us safely. It was definitely worth taking a day to explore surrounding areas from Dublin.
A complete day of fun, sightseeing, and an amazing tour guide! For an all day trip, filled with amazing/peaceful views that you only ever see online, the price is very reasonable and would recommend this trip to others. Group size was not overly crowded as well making it a more comfortable day riding on the bus. Definitely book with Collins day tours!
We had an exceptional experience with Mac and Alec. Mac was an entertaining and knowledgeable guide, he had a wealth of knowledge about the towns and areas that we visited. So glad we made this trip!
Wonderful trip today with Mr Mac (our tour guide) and Mr Alac (bus driver). Whole of the journey was memorable and enjoyable. It was not rushed. Enough time was given. Mr Mac entertained us through the entire journey. He really is best in his job. Wish him best of luck in his life. Cheers
