We survived the Road to Hana—and Cousin Salesi deserves a LOT of the credit! Salesi was the perfect combination of hilarious, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He knew all the best stops, brought the history of Maui to life, and somehow managed to keep our whole group together like a very entertaining Hawaiian shepherd! He didn’t just guide us down the Road to Hana—he made the journey itself the adventure. The stories, the laughs, the incredible scenery, and all the fascinating history made every stop feel like part of something special. And just when we thought the adventure was over, Cousin Salesi surprised us with one bonus stop on the way home. No spoilers! Let’s just say it was the perfect unexpected encore to an already incredible day. If you’re thinking about doing the Road to Hana, go. And if you get Cousin Salesi as your guide, you’ve hit the jackpot. He’s part historian, part comedian, part storyteller, and part shepherd—and 100% the kind of guide who makes you feel like family. If you are visiting Maui, you can’t miss the road to Hana. I’m glad that I chose for this visit Polynesian tour, our guide Salesi was phenomenal: from the pick up to the drop off, he knows every corner of this mythical road. I couldn’t recommend more 🌈🌺

Salesi was our tour guide and he was so amazing! We was super friendly and had so much knowledge that he shared with us on our tour. It was the best experience!

We really enjoyed the tour. The Driver took us to places we never would’ve gone ourselves and we got a behind the scenes glimpse into the everyday life on the island. We enjoyed all the beautiful scenes and local stops, plants history and wildlife. The waterfalls and the distance were amazing and the surprise at the end of the trip was really nice, but I won’t spoil it.

Long but very pleasurable day experiencing the road to Hana. Our guide ensured that we saw all the high points and took the time to provide lots of history and background. I highly recommend this tour, but more specifically this guide by the name of Sale.

Salesi was our guide and he was extremely personable and knowledgeable! He gave lots of information and entertained us as well! All the stops were great! Lunch was great! I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Salesi - he was amazing!!

100% recommend this tour. Our host, Salesi, was amazing - a wealth of information. He answered out questions, told great jokes, knew everything about anything, safe, and genuine! We saw many amazing sites and I have hundreds of beautiful pics. I highly recommend this tour!
