Thanks to Moon our tour guide and Kairat our driver who brought us to Charyin Canyon. From the start of the day everything went smoothly. The drive to the canyon was comfortable and pleasant. A nice clean and spacious car. Moon was bright and friendly and made the trip go by quickly. The Canyon itself was spectacular and the standout thing to see in the Almaty region. Again Moon was great with the stories and information about the region. She had a drone with her and she did a few videos of us which was a real surprise. When we saw these videos afterwards they were excellent. We had a lovely lunch in a local restaurant near the canyon again Moon was so engaging. Our journey back to Almaty was perfect with no delays. Thanks to Moon and Kairat for facilitating this wonderful experience. J &T

We had a wonderful time visiting Charyn Canyon in Kazakhstan. The scenery was breathtaking, and the canyon left us speechless. Thanks to our guide, Moon, who was friendly and made the trip memorable for us. Her stories made the journey even more enjoyable! The local food was excellent, especially the lagman and duck dish. We were also impressed by the driver’s skill. Despite the long drive from Almaty, the ride was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Kazakhstan’s beautiful nature and warm hospitality:)

Carved over millions of years, Charyn Canyon is one of Kazakhstan’s most spectacular natural wonders. Famous for its dramatic red rock formations and the stunning “Valley of Castles,” the canyon offers breathtaking landscapes, peaceful trails, and unforgettable views shaped by time and nature.

She also gave me tons of advice for outside this trip and helped me out with local transfers. Highly recommend her if you want a fun and meaningful experience.

The Charyn Canyon is spectacular and a true natural wonder. It is fairly easy to walk down to the river. You then get a truck back to the bottom of the staircase to climb out of the canyon . Bit of a wait time when busy. Price was high but it was a long trip. We had a great driver and an interesting young man as our guide.

I had a really good time with my guide Akhnul. She was really knowledgeable and friendly. She and our driver were both great and I’d definitely recommend this tour company.

Great Trip. Very nice guide. Very good food. Beautiful nature. They pick you up at the hotel and bring you back to the hotel. So everything is included.

Tour guide was on time. Guide was knowledgable and aware of the history and location and facilities Guide (kuanysh) was also fluent in english and very helpful
