It's was a long hectic day but worth every bit of it. Travel time in bus can be cumbersome for some but the sites visited justified the journey. People can opt for short journeys too. Just keep cash in hand a day before the journey.
Really felt I had a real journey with them as I took the big bus tour, 6 sights in Almaty. It can be very hectic at the beginning finding your bus then getting on the right bus. At first I was aggrieved as the compulsory charge of 8,000 for the truck to the lake should be clearer & why not charge it in the tour price if everyone has to pay? Also lunch is a little sneaky as the way the guide worded, seems included but when I asked she said not include. But overall I had a great day out & despite these the organisation & time was actually well-planned. Almost 2 hours at Charyn, 1.5 hours at Kolsai lake (actually too much). It was a fun trip, the big bus is definitely work it and not too bad altho the gas station stop at the beginning is also v hectic as all big buses go in at the same time. Better have money ready as you dont wanna join the ATM queue then have to join the cashier queue. Pro tips: bring an umbrella as the sun can be overbearing especially in the desert. If you have a weak bladder sometimes you will wait 2+ hours for bathroom stop so plan accordingly. Skip the lunch as its overpriced and buy your food at the gas station or at the lakes as there's Samsas for 550 (US$1.5) as opposed to paying 6,000 for the cafe arranged by the tour. No wifi on bus but charging points provided
Experience: The whole tour was really amazing and incredibly magically visiting the Canyons and enchanting lakes are really amazing dream come true. Admission fee: it’s just worthy, not too expensive. Length of visit: the time given per spot is just enough, though preferred to stay longer in the Charyn Canyon. Crowd size: too crowded! It loses the communication with the tour guide. Two tour guides for 3-4 vans with 16 pax per vehicle. Maybe a controlled number would be so nice for a guide to focus and interact with the tourists. Like what Nurtas does with the previous tours. Best for: Adventurous people, nature lover and some teens. Parents who are still able to walk some distances.
Amazing experience. Good planning and well organized. Lots of driving but the stops and views are well worth it. Highly recommend!
The landscapes are incredible but prepare yourself for a very long day!! The road is tiring, it takes many hours but it is 100% worth it
The places we visited are awesome. But at the end of our tour, the guide didn't drop us the same place she picked us up. Instead she let us go and told us go and take a taxi
The tour guide, Maksat (aka Max), was a great personality and guide for the tour, with a lot of energy and interesting facts, games and advice to make the tour enjoyable and worthwhile. His English and Russian were at a great standard!

Never again!!! Not a comfortable bus, at +40 in the shade, no air conditioning. Despite notifying them within 5 days that one adult would not be coming, at first there was no answer for a long time, and then on the day of the tour, a notification that the money would not be refunded. It is an outrage!
Everything was very well organised from the transportation to the itinerary. The schedule was well balanced giving us enough time at each location to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and simply appreciate the beauty of nature without feeling rushed. Thank you to our guide, Luba. She was absolutely wonderful, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and full of positive energy. She shared interesting facts about every destination, made everyone feel welcome, and was always happy to help whether it was answering questions or taking photos for us. Her enthusiasm and genuine care made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting KZ i highly recommend booking this tour with Panda Tour. And if you have Luba as your guide consider yourself lucky! She truly goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has an unforgettable experience. 🤍
