Beautiful nature and scenery; our guide Jon was incredibly helpful and showed us the best parts of each location, was fluent in English, and super fun. Stops were well selected and well timed.
I loved the tour to Kolsai and Kaindy Lake and Charyn Canyon. I went as a solo traveller and was able to make lots of friends. Our guide Jan was amazing, friendly and informative. And we had a very safe driver. Our yurt stay was amazing, very comfortable beds. Bonus points for there being cute kittens running around. Thank you!
The tour was amazing: fantastic landscapes, great Kazakh hospitality, yurt accommodation was perfect and the food so good and hearty. Serzhan is a precise guide and timing and organization were perfectly on point.
I really couldn’t recommend this tour enough! Our guide Ax was perfect- he clearly loves his job and was so considerate, informative and funny- keeping a good energy on the tour and making it really special. It hard to believe you can fit so many amazing experiences into just one trip, but this tour manages it. If you’re coming to Almaty, give yourself a couple of days to do this tour, you won’t regret it!

During this tour you will visit some highlights of Kazakhstan outside Almaty. Both the guide and the driver were very good. The lunch and overnight location are with enterprising local families and well cared for. Only we were sitting way too close together at lunch. We had the misfortune that it rained the second day, but the guide warned us beforehand. So everyone could prepare. We were picked up at 7:30am. That was earlier than planned which we found unfortunate.
Janice is a great tour guide. Comfortable ride. Yurt stay was superb. Delicious food. Mountains, lakes and the canyon was mind blowing. Especially the river at the end of the canyon
Ax was literally one of the best tour guides I’ve ever experienced. He is hilariously sarcastic and a kind hearted soul that wants you to experience the best of his country. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone!

It was a great trip, everything well organised, kind of tired of the fact that they make us pay for everything but apart from that sensational trip. Our host Nas was great, a little bit more of history and concext would be nice.
