We had an amazing time learning to cook the traditional lunch and then eating it. There was so much food and we even had our own private class! The owner is amazing he is very knowledgeable about the food and also a lovely person. He is even employing disabled people who struggle to find jobs elsewhere, fantastic person. Would recommend this to everyone.
A great cooking class with a delicious meal at the end. Our teacher was knowledgeable and engaging and helped us cook a great feast. Our 10 year old daughter also enjoyed the experience, she would have benefited from being able to do a little more of the cooking, like the adults. Overall a really good experience.
An experience not to be missed! Chef Koo was so instructive, amusing and such good fun that we just laughed throughout the whole experience. Lovely, fresh ingredients and good instructions on how to cook them. We all managed to prepare and cook delicious food under Chef Koo's watchful and amusing eye and thoroughly enjoyed eating the results for lunch! The traditional building added to the ambience and we can thoroughly recommend this experience when in Hoi An. We wouldn't have missed this for the world!
What a wonderful experience! My companions were not sure about doing this - but they loved every minute. Chef Koo was charming, attentive, friendly and great fun. He also took videos and photos with our own phones so that we had loads of photos. The ingredients were fresh and it was really good to taste and cook with new products. Chef Koo's instructions were clear and easy to follow with a lot of fun thrown in. The resulting dishes were simply delicious. Best food we have had all trip! Can highly recommend this experience to experienced and not so experienced cooks - it was worth every minute! Learned a great deal and have the recipes to use back in Oz.
Such a fun morning and well worth the money! We were taken on a really informative tour of the market (and not coerced into buying anything) before going on the coconut boats, where we caught a couple of crabs and spun. The food was easy to make and so delicious, best to come on an empty stomach. The teachers were also so friendly and helpful, highly recommend.
