We thoroughly enjoyed this highly informative tour. Our guide, Samy, was nothing short of amazing!! He’s an astrophysics masters degree candidate at the university, which is really interesting given that Copernicus and other historical luminaries were students there. Samy’s knowlege was encyclopedic not just of that magnificent university but of the many churches and other incredible historical artifacts in Old Town Bologna. I highly reccomend this tour as this city’s history is so unique and I think not well known by non-Italians.

Getting to Know Bologna
Jonathan was an excellent tour guide. He asked about our interests beforehand and prepared a wonderful and interesting tour of the city, it’s history, it food, arts, architecture, and culture. When we return to Bologna, in the future we will contact him again. Great experience!

Poor English
English was poor so we got very little history of the Bologna. Very poor value for money

Excellent tour of Bologna
Valerio was engaging, knowledgeable and helpful. We learned about history, saw spectacular artworks, and enjoyed fabulous architecture. Bologna is a wonderful city and Balerio’s tour is a great way to get an introduction to some of its many treasures.

Bologna City Center Tour
Comprehensive Bologna city center tour. Our guide Jonathan was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, pleasant and listened to and accommodated all our requests.
We saw all the sights we had interest in. The main church was closed when we got to it, but we were able to go back later to see it. He also gave us great recommendation's for lunch and gelato

THEY KEPT OUR MONEY - AVOID THEM!!!
I booked a tour to Bologna in Spanish and paid 50€ for it. Unfortunately my car broke down before I arrived in Bologna with my 4-month-old baby. I wrote to them at the time for the change and they only gave me one option when on the web where I hired them they had many.
I asked them for the change, but they told me "that at such short notice it was not possible". WHEN I TOLD YOU IN ADVANCE!!! When the so-called "manager" Thomas wrote to them on whatsapp, he told me that I had to apologize for the change. There are companies a thousand times better than this.

An incredible afternoon in Bologna - not to be missed ...
Our private walking tour with local guide Davide was amazing!
Davide is an expert linguist (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian and other languages). He has a very detailed knowledge of Bologna, its history, culture and culinary attractions. He has a wonderful sense of sense of humour.
Our tour was exceptional value for money.
