This was an absolutely wonderful experience! The communication with Laura before the trip was excellent - she answered all our questions and provided us with clear instructions on pick-up and drop-off. When our train was delayed she was not flustered but assured us it would be fine. She, along with Filippo met us at the train station in Parma. Filippo, who himself is a world traveler and speaks several languages, was our driver and our guide for the day. He was full of wonderful, interesting information about not only the three spots that we visited but about Italy and the Emilia-Romagna region and all the cities therein. We had lunch at a wonderful restaurant and learned so much about the various foods of the region. Filippo was knowledgeable about all of the individual tours that we went on and was able to add even more information than the hosts at each site did. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

Started with parm cheese tour with wine, then prosciutto with wine, then lunch with wine, then the best balsamic. Great guide in Phillipo with such an historically interesting area of the world. I recommend and would do this again.

Filippo picked us up at the train station and provided an awesome tour of Emilia Romagna’s very special food heritage. We learned so much from Filippo, he was a great host. We visited amazing small producers and learned first hand about their labor of love. So much work and dedication goes into these products that so many of us around the world cherish and love. Everything was very professional and thorough. We couldn’t have asked for more! Def recommend this tour. Private and intimate; spending time with producers and Filippo answering all your questions while tasting delicious products with local wine. Incredible 5 star tour!

My wife and I had a lovely day with Laura and her driver. My wife is not a fan of meat processing, so we asked to skip the prosciuttificio. Laura was happy to oblige and took us to a lovely winery instead (we are sipping their Fina a Sera Lambrusco as I type this). Everything about the experience was anmazing and everything went smoothly. Laura is an excellent communicator before, during, and even after the tour. I highly recommend a food tour with Laura to anyone that wants to learn more about the fine foods produced in Emilia-Romagna.

We called this tour operator on our way to Parma on a Sunday afternoon, and she was amazing. She quickly arranged a private tour for us with a wonderful guide, Filippo. He took us to a private home, where we learned all about traditional balsamic vinegar directly from the owner. He also arranged for a cheese factory to open especially for us so we could see the cheesemaking process firsthand. Both locations offered delicious tastings, and they even sent us home with cheese to enjoy later. Laura was so kind to send me one of the recipes we sampled during the tour. We never would have been able to experience such an incredible day without Laura’s help. Thank you, Laura!

I loved the whole tour and Filippo was really great. I enjoyed the pamaggiano reggiano factory, balsamic vinegar house, and Parma ham factory. The lunch at the end was the icing on the cake. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to experience these things

We had an incredible day exploring Parma and Modena, and our guide Filippo made it truly exceptional. This was one of the highlights of our entire Italy trip. We visited a traditional balsamic producer in Modena and learned directly from the owner about the centuries-old process. Tasting 18, 30, and 40 year balsamic vinegars while standing among the aging barrels was unforgettable. It felt intimate and authentic. We also toured a Parmigiano Reggiano producer and saw thousands of wheels aging on wooden shelves. Tasting 13, 24, 60, and 80 month cheeses side by side was eye-opening. The butter and ricotta were incredible as well. We ended in Parma with prosciutto and culatello that quite literally melted in our mouths. Paired with Lambrusco and fresh tortellini, it was the perfect finale. Filippo was knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about the region. He struck the perfect balance between education and enjoyment, answering every question thoughtfully and making the day feel relaxed and personal. If you care about food, history, and craftsmanship, this tour is absolutely worth it!

We booked a tour with Laura and had an amazing time. Laura and Ricardo picked us up in Parma and took us to see how the cheese was made then on to the private Balsamic production which was our favorite of the day. The last stop was the factory where the cured the prosciutto. We finished the day with a beautiful lunch. I would highly recommend this tour.
